While I am on it. Wrecker I played a bit around with your skill tree, not the easist thing to do because it works well for it self. But I got managed to put Tempest Shield into that aura setup, because I missed Happy Trigger a bit. Was lucky to got an Aurora Kite Shield. This is so much fun with some investment into the Skill Tree by including Glancing Blows and some Notes that give some Mana Reservation Efficiency and Block Chance. I have a blast right now!
Cool! Mind Sharing it?

Hey, can you think of a way to change the build to put RF into the 6L instead of incinerate to increase the dmg a lot, and make the area a lot bigger?

Cheers.
A min/maxed way is a completely different build, so that'll have to be for another time. But the non-min/maxed way would be:

- Incinerate with Lifetap, Infused Channelling, and Combustion.
- RF with Burning Damage, Elemental Focus, Efficacy, Increased AoE, and Life Tap. (You could replace Increased AoE with Inspiration, but then you'd need to add Inspiration to Incinerate which would make you lose one of the supports on Incinerate that already increases the damage of RF. But, Empower works well here too.)

I already use Increased AoE instead of Efficacy on my 4-link RF and LOVE it.

Does that help?

Oh, keep in mind, the less damage Incinerate does, the less helpful our Leech is.

Does it have to be max? That'd be almost all my health that I need to get hit by. Most likely to just get one shot in that case. Was thinking of running it at lvl 10 with lvl 12 immortal call. Should be ok, right?

Edit: I currently have 4k health with auras running. Can probably increase the
CWDT and IC as I gain more life.
CwDT doesn't HAVE to be maxed out, but it's highly beneficial because of the extra damage mitigation, duration, etc. we get from the fully levelled gem. (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Immortal_Call.

As I saw others mention, and they are correct, CwDT isn't about individual hits/damage taken. It's an accumulative total. So CwDT triggers linked spells after a TOTAL amount of damage (from Hits) has been taken. So you don't have to worry about your total life pool in regards to CwDT. You can worry about your life pool as usual. No extra stress added.

Thanks as always :)
I hope that this link will work https://poeplanner.com/builds/666708 . So far it is in most cases a Monster, still working around if I keep the helmet or changed to a rare one with the specific supporting gems mods. If I get a bit more of tree points I will try merge it more with Happy Trigger, just for the fun. Still lacking a bit of chance to block spell damage. Still holding an eye out to find better belt and chest, but I see why people have fun to play around with this massive skill tree.

The next step I am trying to think about, is to replace the CwDT with either the skill gems with Vengeance, Reckoning and Riposte. Just for the fun of blocking.

I hope I didn't broke the link, did some "Regret" testing, that didn't do well, now running with a diff version around.

Can't find a way to increase the spell damage block chance without destroying the whole working tree.

With my lack of knowledge and exp. I can't the idea in my head to work. I don't even think there is a way to create a Cerberus, with the flaming auro of RF, the fire breath through Incinerate and the missing part the claws I hope to get through Happy Trigger. But I don't see a way to get any of the 3 mayor skills of Happy Trigger to be useful ... sadly

Hey, Steel_darkblade,

I find that there are some combos of enemy mods that crush the Reaper's health in juiced-up T16s. But that's something that I chose to be patient with, even though it sucks. The Reaper is easy to resummon, which doesn't make the fact that some fights it dies easier any more fun, but the easy resummoning one of two reasons I chose the Reaper of Zombies. The second reason is tied to the first. Because the Reaper is so easy to resummon, I chose not to invest in any minion survivability. I put that focus instead on character survivability. If I was going to go back and focus on minion survivability (on the tree), I'd go back to zombies (I think).

To answer your question directly, without changing the tree, assuming you haven't modified the build at all, you're looking at Minion Life on gear. You could put on Meat Shield on your Reaper, but that will also agro enemies and the Reaper would likely take more hits. So it'd be a trade-off between more physical damage mitigation and being hit more. It'd also require you to be closer to the action as the Reaper will follow you more tightly.

So, the TLTR is more Minion Life on gear. (And, of course, increasing the Reaper's gem level.)

Hopefully that helps a bit.

Hi,
I am considering to try the Reaper build in Ruthless.

Some questions:
1. What's the DPS celling of this build? Can it do Guardian/Pinnacle bosses?
2. There are only 6 ascendency point in Ruthless. Which one should I drop?

Thanks.
I need a little help. RF build I am finding that I get one shot too often in t10+ maps. Even when I think I have good map mods. Not sure what to do. All resistances are more than maxed. I have 6.2k health (5.2k after auras). 17k armour (25k after standing still for a few seconds). Any suggestions?

Sorry for the delayed response, TheHeadsmasher. It's been a nutty week.

The ceiling to great. With my defence first approach, it won't be annihilating bosses, but it won't be testing your patience either, once the gear comes. With very basic gear that doesn't impact minions at all, the build is a little on the slow side. But once the minion damage nodes (or + to minion skills) start coming, the build performs quite well in the highest-tiered content.

Your Ruthless Question is a good one. I'm not sure what I'd pick. I'd probably sacrifice the Damage node (the one that shocks). I find the build more dependent on the other three options.

Again, sorry for the delayed response. I hope 3.21 is going well for you!
