Holy relic is supported by meat shield and guardian blessing. After you summon your holy relic, you activate malevolence. Guardian blessing causes your minion to take damage as a percentage of their life. In other words, when you turn on malevolence your holy relic slowly loses life and dies. For 3.23 (I just asked this), instead of holy relic you use raise spectre and you get two dark marionette spectres (buy from wildwood vendor or trade site) and use these instead since these spectres resummon themselves when they die so you're not constantly spamming your holy relic. It's a great little tech for this league.

I tried to pob it few times but not even nimis makes it worth it (as nimis doesnt even work properly with SA menace and it actually reduces your damage). Easiest way would be I guess to take my gear and then slap it on some of the CA/SA self cast trees that ppl play but I personally just dont find it worth the effort to pob.

Personally I'm ok with a bit less damage, I'm running a SA of menace PF with the poisonberry tincture setup and feel like I've hit a wall in dmg/tankiness. Was looking to possibly migrate to a setup like yours however without the ballistas :P Plus since maybe this league mechanic has a possibility to not go core, it'd lose the tinctures etc and wanting a backup as I love the playstyle.

Anyways, would it be "ok" to drop covenant for lightning coil for that sweet 100% phys reduction?

Probably only wilmas (to some double phys taken as ele helmet maybe with ailment duratio craft) and then swapping tree
