[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

Just speaking form personal, year long use:

You should think of things like Vaal Grave and Disciple more like "oh shit buttons". The "downtime" is quite considerate, so personally I dont feel like it is worth using without reason. BUT alot of making a char feel "tanky" is about surviving some of the damage spikes and then using "oh shit" buttons. This build in particular can load up a BUNCH of stuff to get their.

Since Evasion is working on an entropy system that gets reset even when u dodge (not evade), it is very effective to raise up the dodge in a hairy situation.

So basically the gameplay loop goes like that.
You get "hit" several times but evade it. The entropy system makes sure you actually dont evade forever by sheer rng and get "hit", but when you get "hit" you roll for dodge. If you dodge you still get the entropy reset, so it is incredible potent, but also means u just need to be able to surivive the average hit and then juice uop the dodge to make sure nothing finishes you off.

So playing "reactively" with vaal grace is pretty fine and works perfectly fine if you put it somewhere u can react fast enough. I put it on my right mouse button, so there is basicaly no delay in me pressing my lifeflask and vaal grave instantly.
Thanks a lot - will try to do that more often - i realized that now in juiced t16s i sometimes just die in bigger groups when it takes a while for them to die (i.e. expedition sites). So i put it back in and hope that i wont die every second map now :D
EDIT: I'm having a hard time figuring out how to level the build from scratch... I get levelling as toxic rain (which is what I'm doing), but what priority do I go for certain parts of the tree? For example, which cluster setup do I aim for first? The one near phase acrobatics (Bow/flask/chaos jewels)? Where is focus coming from (helm enchant)? Does my gear change anything on the tree? Which items are the biggest spikes to upgrade first from the starter setup?

Sorry for all the questions, I hope they're not too dumb, but this is only my second league and I really want to get this build rolling properly. I appreciate the huge effort you've put into the build, any and all advice when it goes to progressing gear/tree would be so good.

Yea that works too, I just enjoy elusive when mapping even when its not the most consistent.

Elevated onslaught is nice but feels like kind of wasted investment when big part of that mod is also bossing and we dont have sustained onslaught.

Well I strongly urge you to hop on std on some of your older chars, put the coralistos away and see for yourself. "Not the most consistent" is a massiv understatement. I mean you trigger this like 1 or twice per map for 4 secs, it is rathr abysmal.

If you still prefer it that is obv everyones own prerogative, but I was under the impression you value the PoB being a good reference for the average player and I dont think it has any place anymore there. But again, go try it in std for 5 min yourself and you will see what I am talking about.

Yea that is fair, I will retest it.

Yo! Great build, been following the older PoB so now I gotta get a solstice vigil and replace my body armor + annoint ahha.
So we're going with bismuth to cap res. I'm guessing we're dropping arctic armor as well? Or is that setup only for the early game? Sorta confused a little bit but besides that all good.

Great build, again.

You basically start using AA again when you get temp chains corruption on gloves (as that is when you can stop using solstice). I will probs try to improve this as I agree its a bit confusing atm.

Is there a reason why both the large cluster jewels are bow damage? I know there used to be a chaos damage one is that one just not as good? I dont see the change in the log

Forgot to include it in a log as I changed a lot in the PoB at once. Well double bow is mostly because I was looking at the prices and they are cheap while being same/more damage on top of providing even more reliable leech for Strength of Blood setup and a lot more attack speed QoL.

When transitioning from default to cluster setup you should start with the one that is near phase acro/acro as it costs less points and contains important stuff (e.g flask stuff).

Focus is from helmet craft yes.

For item spikes etc check F.A.Q but its mostly quiver, helmet, gloves ofc.

Hi.
In last POB you have -224 Unreserved mana. Looks like there is some unnecessary aura used?

You probs switched to endgme setup that doesnt have solstice where you need to disable temp chains reservation

Alchemist Bismuth flask of Resistances

Is there a way to get this other than spamming Alterations?

I didn't see a beastcraft recipe

Sadly no, just have to use alts. Both perpetual and alchemist is fine tho even though ofc alchemist is ideal.

I finally got all the gear (minus envy aul) to try out the endgame version of the nightgrip/totem build with divine flesh and it is going very well. I beat A8 sirus with no issues and have done a deathless simulacrum. The only thing I changed from the pob is using a medium cluster jewel with evil eye and wish for death as well as using a large chaos cluster jewel with unspeakable gifts. These three nodes have helped me tremendously when dealing with large unexpectedly dangerous packs. I highly recommend them.
