[3.9] Nickonasty's Modular CoCpri Ice Nova Assassin - Shaper/UElder Viable
I am running a very similar build as MF based on mbXtreme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtFPK3ZoM6c
very similar tree
I do like the cyclone play style
I also have a tanky end game hog jugg which I am not to happy with the boring play-style.
Thinking of investing in this MF and make it end game viable with an option to do some MF as well
I don't mind changing gear but wonder if the tree is good enough or should I switch to this build's tree.
I did run up to tier 13 maps with switching some MF to other gear items
Also wondering what gear items have most bang for the chaos that I should go for first. I have around 20+ex
ok i just double corrupted the weapon.... lost the multiplier but got an additional projectile and also 10% damage penetration, is that better then the multiplier?
It's much better, drop Frozen Trail because Ice Nova only needs 2 projectiles to leech, put in another DMG jewel.
Is no one else having a problem with being frozen? We have a warding flask, staunching and adrenaline so no space for a flask of heat. The only times I've died recently is when I've been frozen and unable to get out of it.
Also, I'm sure it's been explained, but why is Corrupted Soul good? I get that you gain a lot of ES, but if I skill it I have double my ES, however half of damage goes through it anyway, so doesn't it end up being the same? There must be something I'm missing...
Drop adrenaline flask for heat or get a cannot be inflicted by corrupting blood corrupt on jewel and drop staunching for heat.
Still playing Dual wield cospris. Just alt/regal anulled my new boots (4-5 ex -_-)
Divine to 14 atleast and then multimod (this time i will go for 25 MS, hehe)
Killed everything in game multiple times so far pretty nice :D will update once i finished boots and vaaled some belts for good corruption on a soul tether( one tab full of them waiting to get destroyed :D )

I'm gonna let you figure you this out yourself by asking you 3 questions.
If you have 5k life and 3k es and you take a 7k hit, how much life and es do you have left?
If you have 5k life and 5k es and you take a 7k hit but the damage is distributed equally between life and es, how much life do you have left?
Which end-state has more total tanking capability left?

I feel silly now, thanks for the easy to understand example :D
That's a very nice guide. Congratulations for your work.
I'm having a hard time against Uber Elder with my current build (actually, just tried 2 times, but this is the first time in the game that I hit a wall). I'll see what I can change to try your build. (:
