Titan Quest has a new "expansion", are you kidding me?
They did not introduce level scaling though. Atlantis has to be completed after you finish the original campaign. So assuming you did original campaign -> IT -> Ragnarok you'd be grossly overleveled and face no challenge.
But hey, useful things like automatic gold pickup and level scaling might be introduced in the third expansion. If they are smart they would introduce QoL slowly to keep people hooked and paying full price for a mod-quality DLC of a 10 years old game. |

They have enough money to commission another company to make the expansions.

" Well not really, someone else is making it entirely. After Iron Lore folded as a company, THQ Nordic picked up a lot of their IPs and gave them out to other people. | |
Yup. Wonder what they are up to. THQ I mean.

Producing content for well liked IPs they own?

You made me actually search. Curiously none of the two "expansions" is listed under them, only the anniversary edition.

Maybe there's some hope for both Titan Quest and Kingdoms of Amalur somewhere in that secret list... :P I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

80? Damn. Are we certain they are engaged in any ARPGs though?

Kingdom of Amalaur is amazing (at least on PC), so long as you keep in mind how the level scaling works. An area will only scale once with it happening the first time you visit an area.
So don't go from Area 1 to Area 2 then backtrack to Area 1 to complete Area 1... because you'll end up over leveled for Area 2 if you do that. Always complete your currently accessible areas first before progressing onwards and complete each area as soon as you enter it. There's a fairly popular mod for the game on PC that does a significant amount of rebalancing. I've not used it my self.
