Vaal skills don't reserve any mana tho, only the base auras do. Also depends if you have enlighten gem, vertex helmet and charisma nodes.

So we dont have clarity or disipline active then? I just wanna know what is suppose to be active and what is only suppose to be used as vaal

I can do red maps but it takes me too long to kill bosses.

Just a note, but keep in mind that the guide doesn't actually include a 6L body; it has you swapping between two 6L bows to switch from CA to TR, and puts other stuff in the body (a 2 link and a 4 link).


Hello to all!

I started this league with this build and i really enjoy so far, i've made some small changed to tree to fit best to my items but so far is perfect.

I have some questions about it since usually when i play one build i do min-maxing. For endgame gear what is more important?

Attack speed or chaos multiplier on jewels?

There is some cap on attack speed for toxic rain?

I am using precision attack speed clarity watcher clear is insane on maps, on Sirus is just fight mechanics, once you learn how to dodge it's easy.

Does anyone have any experience with using the Asenath's chant helm? I saw a large number of toxic rain builds using it instead of The Vertex helm on the poe.ninja website. Most of the time, some variation of despair+soulrend/essence drain/contagion.

I don't think there's a cap on attack speed except how much your mana can sustain (if you start running oom your ability to attack will be throttled). On the other hand going from 3aps to 4 is more impactful than from 5 to 6, so it's about balancing the stats too.


Still I think on the jewels attack speed can roll better values than chaos multi, and it's much harder to get attack speed from cluster jewels as opposed to chaos multi you can get on mediums.

I saw a similar build last season from TarkeCat with caustic arrow and asenath's chant.

Personally I think on toxic rain it's more of a fun / flavour item than actually dps increase because TR can reach enough dps on its own also you can potentially shoot so fast you'll be exceeding the cooldown of asenath and not able to proc whatever is in it with every shot.

I've seen people try to automate curses with it as well, but the tradeoff is much less ES on helmet and practically no defensive stats.

Also keep in mind you will have to solve the aura puzzle without +1 to enlighten and you might have to spec into charisma or the points next to CI.
