I've pushed already 5ex+ into this build
On what exactly? All your gear is super plain except +1 dex amulet (best item if you can transition it into harvest crafted one), dying sun and the 2 uniques that this build doesn't even normally use (hyrri and asenath).

..................

Imagine getting my gear in the first two weeks, things are a premium. It cost a lot unless you drop this stuff yourself and most league starts you won't. You either settle with dying non-stop and doing even shitter damage in early red maps or you buy stepping stone gear so you can comfortably do red maps.

I mean yes you could wait a month and things should be cheaper but that's another problem in itself.

I slot in Mana Pot + Despair Flask for bosses that need it. Regular Map bosses are w/e 1~2 minutes isn't a big deal. However, trying to do Sirius has been a nightmare.

I honestly think it's my shit 2.68 APS.

Asenath Chant is just better DPS and Map Coverage than the Vertex. Unless you really need the defensive stats from the Vertex, I would say Asenath Chant with Soulrend is a very cheap option for a DPS increase for bossing + mapping.

Cost Analysis for DPS items.

1. Empower 4 = 3+ ex,
2. Toxic Rain at least level 21 (50c),
3. Getting +1 to Chaos Gems (+1 ex value, if I spam aug chaos to get the roll, this would be ridiculously expensive without Harvest you know that 100%),
4.An actual bow with the right rolls 5ex+ (6 link + crafts have a set in stone price)
5.The awakened gems have never dropped to the prices you mentioned in the past 2 weeks. I've watched their prices once a day.... in total their still 3ex+ for the entire set.
6. I can see going for a Carcass Jack will increase DPS but not enough.

Yeah, that's easily 10ex+ right now, no way around it.

Thank you for doing the POB calc for me. I'm just having a hard time believing I'll jump from what you calculated to 5m DPS by throwing more EX at this build.

Asenanth's Chant seems interesting, with Soulrend or this guy is using ED/C: https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds/char/Mirokul/Mirokul

Hi all,

I was able to defeat Sirus A8.

My gear:

Regarding PoB, I'm at ~5.5 Mio. DPS without the best possible bow. The biggest DPS buff were the cluster-jewels.
If you don't have -mana on the amulet, you can use a mana-flask like i did.

Cheers

Gratz! Especially since you don't have that great gear, good job! :)

Hello guys, can anyone have a look at my character and suggest what items to prioritize and what content to do(what tier maps). I feel pretty lost right now. Thanks.

1. lvl 3 empower
2. better bow
3. lvl 21 toxic rain
4. replace that wise oak, why would you even use this? It's for elemental builds... Cap resists through your gear not flask, like for example you don't need more int so replace that craft on ring with resist one. You don't need more than 155 int for wither, and you have 222 atm.
5. spreading rot is worthless... pick some viridian jewels and reroll them with harvest (I dunno why did you spend 3 points on socket if you didn't have lined up good jewel for it)
6. You should start looking for -mana cost rings (temple mod) or veiled recipe to craft it, I don't even know if you're using clarity atm cuz if I import your character it goes into negative mana so I imagine you don't have space for that atm (also good idea is to have vaal clarity, you can still reserve the aura but also use the active vaal cooldown if you run oom on a boss)

What content to run is a subjective assessment... anything you aren't dying on and / or taking ages to clear. If you struggle, lower the tier of maps you're doing. If you're facerolling them, move to higher ones.

If you did that uber lab yourself, then definitely you can do at least yellow maps. Above that you'd have to judge yourself.

Did all of this and my ingame performance has improved substantially, playing around t16 maps. Right now I'm having trouble with some of the harder bosses damage wise and I occasionally get one shot as well while mapping, what should I focus on improving now? thanks
I have been playing this build, lots of fun but I have issues once I reach any boss (most of them are chaos resist). Am I missing something? And if you don't mind can someone look at my gear and tell me where I could improve?

I have ran lab like 50 times so far, will probably just end up buying a helm with +TR arrow.

I would cut out the 22 points you have going to the left side of the tree and introduce cluster jewels.
You need to kill stuff to stay alive as trickster and proc your elusive / mana regen / HP regen / ES regen.
Cutting the 22 points will cost you 500 life and about 0.5% dot dps per point (11% dot dps in total).

Right now you are at 1.55M dot dps (non shaper) you can easily get that to 3-4M with cluster jewels.
*Also try to improve your chaos res which is low -15%, you can get more chaos res easy with all the occasional chaos res we get from harvest crafts (i'm sitting at 76%)
Yo I did as you advised and got 1 large cluster jewel, should I be looking to get another one or do I focus on my other gear now? I feel like my hp is a bit low. Thanks

That's amazing! you already shot up to 2.5M dot dps, you shouldn't focus on getting a 2nd cluster jewel setup at this time.
now you should overall try to improve your gear (small changes add up to a bigger final result)
Go for these items:
1. Amulet with chaos dot multi and +1 to chaos gems
2. Quiver with chaos dot multi and other useful stats (Dot multi, attack speed...)
if you start dropping in resistances get a nice two toned boots with high HP and high resistances to cover the slack.

Bigger hp will come with leveling and better gear don't go out of your way for HP.

Every boss has some chaos resist, and some elemental resist, and armor (for phys builds), they also have reduced curse effectiveness on them, that's why POB has different settings for normal mob, boss and shaper, fork has also sirus. It's normal, bosses are more sturdy than trash mobs.

Helmet enchant is the last of your worries, it's mostly for clear speed / aoe.

You need lvl 3+ empower, a better bow and lvl 21 toxic rain.

Your anointment makes no sense, the nodes you pick from the tree don't double stack with anointment, you already specced entropy, so it does nothing for you to anoint it on top.

The amulet itself is very basic, has no chaos or gem mods and only crafted life.

No idea why did you craft elemental damage on the quiver, as this build doesn't do any elemental damage.

Cluster jewels could be better, for example you have large with 9 points instead of 8 and only 1 notable.

The thread of hope for picking Hunter's Gambit is a good idea, but why pick the poison node next to it? This isn't a poison build. And the 16% increased damage over time if it was worth it, you could just path the other side of the wheel and get 16 + 20.

Silent steps is not very useful after the nerf (it was great when it was 5% less damage taken from blinded mobs), flesh & stone already blinds and for evasion alone survivalist is probably better. But tbh you could just craft the evasion on your quiver instead of WED at this point.

33% reduced recovery rate on life flask is an odd choice, I'd rather use a faster flask than slower one on a spec that doesn't have a lot of health (if you were 8k+ hp necro or chieftain I could understand bigger flask is better than faster, but then blood of the karui exists).

The flasks are generally rolled poorly, cast speed does nothing, attack speed is on a life flask instead of utility one, staunching should probably be on life flask and the cast speed one replaced with immunity to curse (temp chains suck).

You can also sell lvl 20 gems with 1 gemcutter prism for lvl 1 gem with 20% quality and this is very worth it on specific gems like totem / multi totem supports because it makes totem placement faster.

Added chaos damage on gloves is also meh, added damage only adds to initial hit not pod dot scaling. Goal would be to get gloves with chaos multi or increased damage over time, for now you could craft something like increased aoe or increased damage while flask is active (veiled mods), or if you don't have these a random defensive mod.

But overall prio empower 3 and a +3 bow.
