(3.14) Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow | 5-10m Sirus DPS | Fast + Durable | 50c Budget/SSF Uber Elder

So with my infinite luck I managed to drop a 6 socket, 5 link Carcass Jack in SSF and am wondering if this is a viable alternative to your primary setup. I see CJ is a pretty popular chest with TR but I don't know if it's good in this case given how you're scaling the damage and my being, well, stupid.

I have to say that this is easily the fastest I've ever leveled though with a janky setup on my Tabula. Just shoot and run.

Thanks

Swapping QotF for Carcass Jack will give you more damage, and some ES. But you'll lose some evasion and the movement speed perks of QotF.

The chest piece in this build is pretty open to experimentation, so choose the one that fits your playstle, or fills in what you feel is lacking.

Seems like everyone is using Wicked Pall and Unholy Grace. Then you can get a medium cluster jewel with +chaos multi small passives, plus another Wicked Pall. Mine also has Unwwaveringly Evil, which I take since it's only 1 point with my 8 passive large, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

The ones that have best stats for toxic rain. Basically chaos damage / damage over time + skill effect duration or attack speed.

Wicked Pall
Unholy Grace
Circling Oblivion
Eternal Suffering
Repeater works too
Tempered Arrowheads would be great if it didn't spawn only on crappy jewels with bow weapon damage (minor nodes are wasted)

Accompany that with passives that give a boatload of chaos damage / damage over time (increased or multiplier) and you're good to go. Don't pick anything with crit / poison / ailment in name if it doesn't have something else super useful, these are wasted nodes.

Would a gem like this be worth skipping the skill effect side of the tree, and a gem slot on the tree?

And for the large cluster, i can get 3 notables and 2 jewel sockets? or just 2 notables and 2 sockets
Just posting an update for those who are interested.

Every gem can have 2 prefix 2 suffix.
Lvl 75 large cluster can roll a suffix that gives 2 sockets. That takes 1 slot.
There are 3 more slots so you can get 3 passives but they need to be 2 prefix 1 suffix.
Here's the list:

The 12% chaos gem is the best for us, Grim Oath & Overwhelming Malice is worthless, rest of the affixes can be servicable.

Suffix can be Unholy Grace or Unspeakable Gifts.

Prefixes you'd want 100% Wicked Pall and then whatever else you can get, Unwaveringly Evil is probably the best dps of the possibilities.

This is an example of a good jewel:

But as you can see, it's not cheap. Since any chaos build can use this, Toxic Rain, Essence Drain, Caustic Arrow, Soulrend, the stats are useful for all of them.

1 socket and 10 passives? Seems a bit meh. You want the least small passives possible and preferably 2 sockets. If you can't afford 2 socket one at least buy one with 8 slots instead of 10 to save yourself 2 passive points it's around 30-40c atm.

There is no difference in a large jewel having 8 or 9 sockets , same as no difference in medium having 4 or 5 sockets . Cuz anyways u will be spending 8 points in a large one with 9 sockets to take all the important nodes. And you will be spending 4 points in a medium one with 5 sockets to get all the important nodes . So basically you dont have to pay that much to get a cluster with 8 sockets , just get one with 9 and it will be fine. As for "TWO" jewel sockets , imo that would be already 2much. Running just 1 large , 1 medium and 1 small is more than enough to clear all content in the game . (not talking about t16 100% delirium , i havent tried that yet.)
