Read through the patch notes. Things are buffed, things are nerfed, things shift about a bit. It's all good. Then this:
" I did the end game grind. I did enough Syndicate missions to complete 100 safehouses. By the end of the league (and 100's of hours of play time), I was still missing something like 5+ mods. (T4 non-chaos as chaos, +2 support gems, +1 totems, T3 trap throwing speed, T4 Minion Damage off the top of my head, I'm certain there were others.) I'm going to assume that more veilded items will balance out with the more unveils needed to keep aquiring mods at a roughly similar rate. Let's assume Jun spawns in maps at the same rate as current masters. That's, I believe, 10%. So you now get three syndicates per 10 maps instead of 10 syndicates per 10 maps...in other words, three times as long to unlock all the mods. THREE TIMES AS LONG! I spent this entire league not able to master craft a single thing I actually wanted to craft because I was missing every key mod when I needed it and this coming league, it's actually going to be worse. This Veiled Mod system you've created fucking sucks GGG. At least with the old master system, you knew that if you put a set amount of effot in, you'd have every mod unlocked. If Betrayal was anything to go by, I'm going to finish Synthisis with 100's of hours of played time and missing a dozen key mods, hating every moment of not being able to craft anything. Just as well crafting is not an integral part of the game, eh? The thing that really pisses me off is I *know* it's going to stay like this now for the entire god-damn league. I actually want to scream. |

No word on what the challenges are. Place your bets. I have 10$ on "RNG/G820 scalper merchant love letter trash." Stone nerf because let's punish everyone for people AWESOME at trade. And god forbid normal people have a way to get income. Grifters and pawnshop allstars not impacted, as per usual. /shrugs All in all, seems endurable. Nice play with the leech distractions. In reality it doesn't matter, one shots are still going to be the primary cause of death in POE. Too much censorship that you never even see. Yah! Changes are welcome.
I am a little sad to see that there was not a third fixed option added syndicate encounters. It could be just releasing them, but with the reduction of encounters, should probably be the option to drop an additional veiled item. I want to be clear, the third option has to be something that has zero impact on the state of the 'board'. It can be nothing but releasing them without an additional reward, but you need to be allowed to complete the encounter without being forced to make a counterproductive choice. I have no idea how being forced to leave an encounter incomplete is going to interact with multiple encounters per zone... |
