But i'm trying to reach synergy between Soulrend and Bane. And CwC-Blight-Soulrend + several curses on Bane works great on my expirience for now (changed some things after previous post).
When i trigger some curses from Vixen's Entrapment after using bane — i have some time to spam Soulrend and it comes with omghuge damage on cursed monsters. Just can't stop watching this for now :D

That's true at support gems level 20, not while leveling. because the "More" on gems starts slow, and scale while you level. You probably will get better dps with many curses early and mid game.

End game, I'd probably still run all curses on Bane, because it free up mana for auras.

If this was MoM+EB build, I'd put curses on Blasphemy more easily and get bane to optimal damage.

Soulrend is supposed to be spammed, so you need to cast it a lot or channel through blight. Duration on Soulrend is way too low to be cast "once"

Have you considered scaling it with AOE instead of hard-to-get duration?
I mean, the projectile reapply the DoT every 0.1 second, so if it have bigger AOE, it will last longer, as well as hit more enemies, and makes you less worried about aiming. AOE nodes are easy on the tree, better results for way less investment than duration.

Yes. Yes it does, it's literally the only reason i use it and its busted. 9 curse application with bane on a 6 link and vixens for a cursebot is godly.

Bane doesn't gain the bonuses from the curses but you can link bane with other support gems.

I'm loving this build. What do you think of my setup of combined Rainbowstride + Doedre's Scorn + Ascent From Flesh and Heartbreaker. Now with Discipline on lvl 18 I have ~8.8k ES and for now I haven't encountered problem with anything except maybe I need to stand and wait for bosses to melt. Still progressing through atlas but for tier 6 maps I had 0 problems. It seems like my ES isn't going down anytime. I am using Molten Shield since I lack Strength for Immortal Call for now I am not planning to swap it.

i think it does.

when i switched to vixen i thought it was doing less dmg and tryed to realise why. i was using temporal chains and dot was slower.

i veryfied this by watching the debuff time. it raises to 4.9ish when base is 2.


so i rly think it does. but me being a noob i would rly like some confirmation on this.

I was looking forward to using Cerberus Limb and Magna Eclipsis, but I've been following Tarke's Trickster souldrend build and he seems to suggest that crafted wands are the way to go.

Edit: he also says that shield charge is broken in this league - I'm not sure I caught why. Thoughts on this?
