I want to try my hand at crafting a good ring for the first time rather than trading, and need help deciding which crafting method would be best to get a good ring for this build. The priority list of mods is short, but the nice-to-have list is enormous.
Base(s):
• 84+ Elder Coral Rings (using Mark of the Shaper as other ring)
Well most of the people in 3.7 use 14% as Cosrpri's w/o cdr reduction on belt
yes n you Still have your frostbolt below your ice nova should be the other way around like this
oh right, i'm an idiot. and what about cdr? shall i look for it in belt/boots or not? i see in ur profile u are dualwielding with cospri's AS 14% and no cdr.
i dont feel a difference with 14%cdr belt except losing tons of damage without my stygian 7.55 aps
you wont see a difference while mapping because youre hitting multiple targets. matters for single target
Well my gaming ADHD is setting in now that ive cleared all content multiple times i am going to start my next build and selling off the gear involved in this build if you need anything hit me up in game or search it on poe trade as ive went through and listed it all.

"The MOST IMPORTANT part while figuring out our gear, is to make sure our attack speed does not exceed the CoC trigger limit. CoC can trigger a spell reliably 6.06 times per second (it has a 165ms cooldown)** (increased by the "Increased Cooldown Recovery Speed" mod of at least 14% - keep reading to see why we need at least 14%)**.?"
Still cant figure this out, what exactly this means? And can we have some example pictures with numbers?
And how much is this important? - i mean, how much less dmg we actualy do, if the cdr and attack speed are "not correct?"
Thanks.
It means, that if we proc our CoC and Malice not at the server ticks, our spells could just not be counted by the server, staying only client events. Calculation is based on 30 ticks per second. So, each tick every 33 ms. CoC gem and Malice have 150 ms cooldown, but in fact each spell procs every 5 ticks (33*5 = 165 ms) or 4 ticks (33*4 = 132 ms). To reach 132 ms threshold we need atleast 14% cooldown recovery.
The formula is:
"Cooldown time needed" = "base cooldown time" * (100 / (100 + "cooldown recovery speed increase"))
150 * 100 / 114 = almost 132 ms
1 / 0.132 = 7.57 aps
So, we need to get as much closer to this aps (with 14% CDR), but not higher.
For example with 0% CDR :
7,57 APS would result in 4 procs per second
10 APS would result in 5 procs per sec.
As a reminder, with 6 APS you have 6 procs per second.
