Wrath
Wrath adds Lightning Damage to Attacks. This means it is always going to be Attack Damage, not Spell Damage. It is Lightning Damage, and thus affected by Increased Lightning Damage.
Added Lightning Damage adds flat Lightning Damage to the linked Skill. If this Skill deals Spell Damage, ALD adds Spell Lightning Damage. If it's an Attack, it's not Spell Damage, but Attack Damage. It will also adopt modifiers such as AoE, Projectile or Melee. Whichever way, it is Lightning Damage. If the Damage added was based off Base Attack Speed in some way, it would be described as such. Wrath adds 1-100 Lightning Damage. That's it. Slow weapons get Hatred, fast weapons get Anger and Wrath.
IMO this skill needs an upgrade since herald of thunder. Wrath does a little more damage but herald of thunder applie its effect to spell as well and deal damage when a monster die shocked, for only 25% reserved mana.
A good buff of wrath (maybe anger too, i don't know this skill really well) is necessary for 60% reserved mana. If you want numbers, both gems at lvl 18 : wrath buffs attacks about 200 damage max for 60% reserved mana herald of thunder buffs attacks and spells about 150 damage max for 25% reserved mana (plus damage monsters itself).
The massive intelligence requirements for this gem seems a bit broken, considering it's aimed to buff attacks and not spells.

The latest patch added a Spell-specific bonus, and both Auras and Lightning Damage are normally Int-aligned mechanics.

Heh, didn't even notice that.
Still seems pretty steep though, considering.
Can't quite see anyone scaling Attack Damage DPS with this aura. Like, this little damage for 50% reservation? You can run a herald and, say, AA instead. Or second herald. "But others are not affected by your heralds!". Well, sure, but considering how much you need to invest into scaling elemental damage in attacks, if someone is Physical Melee or Summoner, they gain literally nothing...
Gotta admit that Wrath/Anger and other ways of scaling Elemental Damage on Attacks are pretty weak atm. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. https://joeduncan123.imgur.com https://joeduncan1234.imgur.com
" Here! Me! I do! It's not the greatest damage in the world, but it still adds some nice DpS. 3.5 build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2299519

I'm not keen on this "allies' spells deal X% more lightning damage." It's incredibly niche. Can we please have this changed to "allies' spells deal X% more damage as lightning damage?" Personally, I'd be ok with X being 60% of its current values if it meant I could buff my friend's ethereal knives or firestorms. How many "all lightning parties" do you need for this to be considered a good mechanic?

" Or you could just make another character to buy it. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
