Looking for a little advice. I am currently using the 2 staff set up and I am Level 72 and starting to get some gear (about 4.4k ES @ 960 Int)
1. When running staff #1 in a 6S/4L setup with GMP:CWC:WO:Cold Pen being linked, I constantly run out of mana. Not so much on the staff where I don't use GMP.
2. I tried a T3 map at level 70 and constantly died using the setup with the GMP on Staff #1, seemed to be ok with face tanking the boss with staff #2 though. I ran Ice Golemancer last season and was constantly do maps with mob level 4 or 5 levels higher than my char level, Am I doing something wrong or was I just spoiled with that build?
About (1), best option against mana consumption was "elreon craft" on ring. It pretty much solve everything. But i was sure that GGG said before, that craft that we unlocked will be shared between all leagues, so i thought that we need to grind those veiled craft only one time...
Now that i know that crafts all resets, i know for sure, that i'm not gonna hunt that damn useless elreon, especially now, when find betrayal encounter is much harder.
So, tl;dr, i'm not gonna expect anyone to have elreon craft in their arsenal, so your next best bet is leech lab enchant on boots. It will leech mana for you.
If no - i would recommend, to just get rid of gmp version, just get usual 2l staff when you link only CwC and WO.
But again, if GGG still didn't patched the bug with "spell cascade not working with CwC", i'm not sure how we can normally play with neither WO, nor SC.
About (2), Yup, you are just spoiled :)
Difference here is golemancer, and actually any summoner is kind of character that just don't enter a fight. Golemancer can just run and sip a tea, while his slaves burn his prey. Arguably, you can play it with just 1 life. It will be hard, but possible.
But that build is tank, that build is supposed to take a hit. So if you want to take a hit from a boss 5 lvl higher, with measily 4k ES, i have a bad news for you :)

Currently level 50 with a 5S staff, life leech feels like its doing absolutely nothing for me and im taking a ton of damage.
I leveled with Winter orb CwC freezing pulse until i can afford INT stuff. It was easy for me.
Same here. Day 1 doesn't give a lot of choice. WO - CwC - FP - GMP is a powerful combo, you can get to at least Act 7 with it. I finally got my staff near the end of Act 6, but there was nothing wrong with WO - FP at that point, it was still 1-shotting everything in front of me.

Just killed Atziri in the Temple lv 75 deathless, the bitch hit harder then the normal one though no problem for WI!
I made a hilarious mistake while killing her for the challenge the other day: forgot to take out CWDT or at least Frostbite. That 1% reflect is not quite so harmless when you Frostbite yourself! :)
Is there a way to reduce the time between the beginning of a cast and the time it takes to get the first channel of IceStorm? So far that's the only thing that makes the build feel a little off for me.
It takes about a full second from when I start the channel till the first icicles fall.
can anyone please tell me what needs to be upgraded first? or what I should prioritize? I'm feeling pretty weak. Haven't played in a long while.
MUCH APPRECIATED!<3
Int on helmet is too low.
Get rid of ignomon amulet, it's useless. It's literally don't have any stat that benefit us. Except resist, which is low too.
Your gloves don't have life, don't have resist, don't have int, not even es. They are useless too. You might as well not using gloves at all, will not even notice difference.
You are 67 lvl, pretty soon switch to CI, so i will not bother to tell you to get life on your gear, which you don't have.
But gloves, amulet and helmet should be changed ASAP, cause they are so bad, that wearing blue item with a single stat that actually relevant would be twice as effective than that garbage.

No, it takes 0.35 seconds for icicle to start falling. But yeah, their fall isn't instant either :)
And no, you can't reduce that time. There is no such method in the game, and this is price of benefits that CwC give us, we can only deal with it.
