Immolate isn't very useful for solar guards so you'd just lose a link.

Try using a defensive curse. Enfeeble blasphemy should help a lot. Either drop the other curse or try and get an amulet/chest with +1 curse or get the one from the tree if you don't lose too much life for it.

Also maybe try going for acrobatics/phase acrobatics like I mentioned earlier in the thread. I felt so much squishier running pure life without any dodge than I do now.

Another thing you can do is craft a weapon with trigger socketed spell on skill so you can keep up offerings without always having to stand still and recast. Lets you focus on other things.

Get a Rumi's or Taste of hate for more physical mitigation.

Something I did before was running zombies with the fleshbinder ascendancy for a good amount of extra phys reduction since the skeletons don't help you at all while you are mapping.

Wed? Spectres would not be as effective in Elder helmet as in 6L.
For Skeletons, however, you can try to get Minion Life, Damage and Less Duration.

Anyone else applying their EE via trigger?
Changed my build slightly and made it even lazier but I'm not sure which skill is best for consistently applying EE to as many enemies as possible.

I tried out vortex but it seems that only the initial damage applies EE, and the damage over time doesn't.

Other candidates I am considering:
Bladevortex
Bladefall
Ice Nova
Stormbrand

Any other ideas or insight which skill would shine here?

Selfcasting anything is a total pain in the ass for summoners. That's why i always try to minimize it. Shield Charge is enough for me. I just apply it to bosses, for trash it's not even needed

I'm just trying to figure out which spell provides the best coverage/uptime and doesn't do fire damage.

im pretty new in this game (first time HC and mapping). I want to craft mace an boots. How many Bound Fossils do you usually need for abt. 80% Minion damage? ANd is there a big difference in using ilvl 80 -85 in crafting?

for weapon you'll need 10 at least, depending on what you aim for (just minion damage or multicraft)
for boots you'll need 5 to 10 bound+pristine for good life roll+spectre.
I crafted multiple pair of boots tis league with 3-7 attempts per boot and 3 weapons with about 10 fossils per weapon to get 60+ damage.

But imo, just buy a mace that drops from Atzoatl with up to 95% minion damage, its less of a stress.

Crafting a mace is not recommended now for the end game, since Temple maces with 90+ are about 5-10c
