Mobile gaming thread

I'm still grinding Summoners War.

I think its the incremental nature of autoplay that has allowed me to play it this long. Just hit repeat, do whatever, look back in 2-3 minutes and do it again.
Got myself new device for better experience in some games.

Still playing Tower of saviors, granblue fantasy, crash fever, fgo, azur lane.

Those games eat away most of my time and now are much smoother on new device.

Sorry for double post, but to spread #salt-gacha, did fgo draws with tickets and 10 draw for quartz.

And I am finally happy and done until 4 more cards/characters release in future that i aim for in long run.

Results are : vlad iii, emiya, medusa lily lancer, 2 x devilish bodhisatva and limited zero/over.

While the top character that I aimed for since I started playing, despite having francis drake is

Spoiler
Finally got quetzal

So i'm pretty happy, I could say.

In future I aim for :

must have:

Sigurd, saber;
Skadi, caster;
Xiang Yu, berserker;
Abigail Williams, foreigner;

optionals:

Illya - optional totally if i get her by any random chance
Gray - optional when case files hit
Atalante alter - optional
Santa quetzal - obvious why.

So no more pulls until any of "must have" comes out. If I get any other servants, that will be a nice bonus, just like todays new 3 x 4* servants.

Aside from aforementioned gacha games that i play without stopping, discord people told me to download cytus and cytus 2 while its free on google play, so i did to test rhytm games first time ever.

Also, downloaded autochess for android, to see whats the hype about recently.

All 3 mentioned games seem ok, but still gacha games eat most of my time.

I sank so much time into Cytus, and currently sink so much time into Cytus 2. By far my favourite rhythm games out there, and basically the only reason I use my tablet anymore lol.

Sure are great at giving me the old wrist twinges though, ouch.

Here I'm spending time now on summer rerun in fgo, want to make np5 scathach and get some meteor fous so i can be in peace.

Did around 50 draws, 30 on part1, 27 on part 2, 0 summer servants, also no 4* either, thats expected and ok for fgo i guess.

Before the event got berserker of el dorado and avenger of shinjuku those were ticket random draws, compared to summer quartz draws.

Other game I play is having primordial chinese gods like nuwa, fu xi and xiwangmu, but in 8 days we are getting Ultraman collab, which will most probably consist of 8 generations of ultramen as cards + side allies as side rewards and lots of kaijus as obtainable boss monsters, 18-23 cards total.

Here is some artwork of their interpretation in line with game artwork if anyone likes Ultraman (since its very old series) :

Ofc as with all collabs, I go all in with those to obtain them all, more will be revealed next thursday (the rare cards, these are commons)

Startrader: Frontiers is one of my all time favorite games. It is an indie gem that surpasses other AAA space epics so far as content and engagement is concerned. Many of the mechanics encountered are, from my perspective, innovative and unique. I had to put the game down because it was too easy to lose whole days to it.

I wanted to write more about it, but my 4yo is acting like a 4yo... so eh.

It's the perfect game to play at 2am in bed if you have no intention of sleeping. That and Buriedbornes are like my two favourite 'oh crap the sun's coming up' mobile games. They're both indie as, brilliant, self-contained and compelling as all hell. They are true 10/10 games in an age where 9/10 means almost nothing anymore.

On that note, BuriedBornes 3.1.0 came out yesterday, seems to be some framework implementation for future content as well as a new season announcement and a release schedule.

Got berserker nobu and assassin nitocris yesterday, quite happy, although I would have loved umucaster or fran saber.

It was a quartz sacrifice to rng gacha gods for some other game, where I have afterwards drawn 2 x 1% jackpot within one 10 draw (without rate up), which prompted half of that games discord to do the same after seeing my luck and fail in the process which made the #salt-gacha channel even saltier.

Now focusing on rider ishtar event to get all she needs so that i can max her in eventual future.

I played a ton of Sdorica and Another Eden, both very beautiful gacha RPGs, until they got too grindy and the reality of the slot machine became too apparent.

Currently I'm a huge fan of Orna, an ARG ala Pokemon Go, with old-school turn-based RPG mechanics and pixel art. It's a single-developer project and it's a lot of fun.
