Hey Vei,

By the way I updated my writeup on the Iron Reflex Section recently , incorporating attack and spell block(Up to 75% and 70% respectively) to the build, just thought to point it out in case you haven't seen it and might be interested.

Cheers

Thanks Vei, you are correct, the main reason I want it is because of the cremator. I like your thoughts, I will try them out.

Where is the write-up? I would like to look at it, please.

It's on Part 2 of my guide, here's the direct link to it

Look for Section "32. Iron Reflex Edition" there.

Hi there,

I exported your character into POB and actually sat down and went through part by part in detail, which is what I normally always do when people asked me about their build as can be seen from my detailed in depth replies to all the questions asked over the last 40+ pages of this thread.

After spending an hour, looking in detail and composing my reply for you, I realized you just changed so many things that make the build much worse that I find not much point in typing out every single part to rectify it. To make it short, I would suggest that you follow back what my guide says and avoid making too much changes.

Regards

Hi Vei, can you see where can improve the build? I seem to be stalling (I know my Cast when damage take is abit too high)

THanks in advance

Hi, below are my comments:

Spoiler
Core Issues

1. You didn't have Avatar of Fire Keystone allocated which is a must for this build. Without it, you are missing a lot of DPS.

General Improvements

2. I see you didn't take Lethality Notable on the Passive Tree, it's the best DPS Notable in terms of Passive Point Spent to obtain it, as can be seen from this list sorted from highest to lowest:

DPS(VS Shaper) gained per Passive Point Spent to obtain Notable

A. Lethality
B. Acuity**
C. Lava Lash
D. King of the Hill
E. Master Fletcher**
F. Farsight**
G. Heartseeker
H. Primeval Force
I. Divine Judgement
J. Savagery/Fervour

**Assuming it doesn't make you go over 100% Chance to Hit

3. The 50% increased Elemental Damage from Divine Judgement Notable might look very juicy, but in terms of DPS gained per Passive Point Spent to get it, its one of the weakest as can be seen in the above list. Better to move the Passive Points to Lethality.

4. You are doing the default build which means having the Acrobatics Keystone. Thus sources which provides armour is reduced by 50%, and that makes it no reason to use a Granite Flask. Also you are not using a Diamond Flask to bring out the DPS from Marylene's Fallacy, which at the same time, the best DPS flask for us. Definitely swap that Granite Flask for a Diamond Flask.

5. I see you are not using any instant recovery Life Flask, these are necessary sometimes to get out of those nasty situations when we take big hits, consider using an Instant Life Recovery Flask like

For the Forbidden Taste Unique Flask, make sure it's a high rolled one, Recovers 97%+ of Life on Use.

6. I see you are using a Mana Flask, if you are facing Mana Issues, you can try getting one or two "Non-Channelling Skills have (-9–-8) to Total Mana Cost" craft on your rings. That should help the Mana cost to Cast our Totems and the Mana Flask can then be replaced with an instant life flask mentioned in the previous point, or Silver Flask(2nd Best DPS flask) if you prefer a DPS one.

7. I also notice you haven't done the Eternal Lab for the last 2 Ascendancy Points, go for it when you can. They might just be 2 Small Mana Regeneration(One with 10% Increased Maximum Mana) Ascendancy Passives, but they do help.

8. Consider buying a Level 21, 0% Quality Elemental Hit(Better than a Level 20, 20% Quality Elemental Hit), it's around 20-30c atm for a one. Very cheap investment for a big DPS upgrade.

9. If you could get some Flat Accuracy, probably on Gloves since they give one of the highest, up to 600, replacing your Precision Gem with just a Level 1 one and use those unreserved Mana for Haste(DPS) or Grace(Defence) would be a better use of Mana Reservation. Ideally get the Vaal Version of the Haste/Grace gem.

Hope the suggestions help.

Thanks! I started making the changes, all I can say is WOW. I love it so far. I still need a couple of items for resists but overall it is an amazing variation of the build.

The final tree. I added Counterweight & Whirling Barrier just to try it out. I like it a lot.

Thanks Vei. Can't wait to try it next league,

Had a blast with this build during the league.

Cant wait to see what we will get with the next patch and league :>
Those replica uniqs might be intresting.
My last 4-5 builds were complete waste of time and curr, no survive, no dmg, 50-100ex worth of gear. To the point where i just got bored with PoE. Asked friends for tips on builds they thought were good, got a tip to try Vei's Ele hit.
Like with all builds, there are pros and cons, however, imo, Ele hit has waay more pros than cons.
Pros:
1. Very cheap/easy starter
2. Endgame viable (no need to make a second char for those who detest running acts more than needed, or spend lots on respecs)
3. Insane gear upgrade possibilities (for those, like me, that cant stand seeing lots of curr going to waste in stash)
4. Easy to change between tankier/more dmg
5. Good survive+Good dps (if following guide, dont forget that chaos ress)
6. FUN (If you like the totem playstyle)
7. Kaom's Heart (added as pro since its so much nicer to not need lots and lots of gems all over the place)
8. Phase Run (give me that MS!)
9. A. Sirus 1 deathless with uncorr Frostferno+Quill, and 1-2c items on rest(as well as some self-found)(Might also add that it was my first time ever against sirus and had not looked up how the fight worked, so went in blind)
9. B. Sirus 7 was easy and deathless (I probably had about 20ex worth of gear when I got to that point though, so can't say how it'd have gone with cheaper gear)

Cons:
1. Lots of buttons (Ele hit, Flame Dash, Frenzy (with curse), Blood Rage, Vaal Grace, Phase Run, Berserk, Auras) (Only use Ele hit, Flame Dash and Phase Run on regular basis)
2. A bit hard to find some types of gear, and can cost a little extra for upgrades due to it, and might have to get into crafting yourself as well (I dont much like crafting)

So all in all, awesome build, lots of room to change into your own desired playstyle, as in going for more survive or more dps, fast clearspeed on cheap gear (atleast up to t13 maps, after that I had done alot of upgrades)

Great to hear! And if I recall correctly, the last I saw, you weren't at 36 Challenge completed yet and now you are so Congrats on 36! :)

Awesome!

The Flame Wall seems to fit well for our build, interested to see how much additional DPS it will provide us.

Replica and also Alternate Quality Gems are definitely interesting, let's see what they offer for our build :)
