That's the first time i'm able to go so deep into the endgame, like farming T16 maps with sextant, fragments and scarabs

I'm struggling a bit at the moment with uber elder. Do you have any advises to kill them ?

Right now I'm doing T16 channel map, but I'm starting to be a bit bored about this one, what t16 map do you guys farm ?

I don't have enough currencies to buy an amulet with "you can apply an additional curse", so I choose to play the enfeeble curse. Do you think I could use a support gem over flamability to have more defense (or dps) ?

In term of elemental resistances, what % do we have to reach ? I was thinking about 105% everywhere in order to do all maps. But look like it's hard to maintain that % with 2 or 3 elemental damage roll on the rings

I suggest Kaoms Root, Purity of Ice, and Arctic Armour for uber elder fight.
I would aim for +2 corrupted Frostferno as next upgrade.
I was hesitant to do a totem character at first because I didn't think I would enjoy it, but it's quite a bit more fun than I thought it would be. It's also very powerful without needing very specific and hard to craft gear (I've had a hard time crafting anything better than average gear for tanky ES builds).




I'm still working on getting a properly corrupted frostferno. Have corrupted about 15 so far with no luck. Once the gems hit max level I'll corrupt them. Believe it or not I've corrupted 32 lvl 3 enlighten gems and didn't get a single level 4. That's almost impossibly bad luck. So for now ignore the level 1 enlighten. It hasn't effected anything as I'm not having any mana issues at the moment. I'm probably not going to try hard for a %damage Kaom's. I'll buy some and corrupt them for fun every now and then, but I'm not going to sink a bunch of currency trying to upgrade that one. Also still working on getting better corruptions on the jewels. So far I've bricked every single 14%/15% combat focus I've corrupted lol.

I know I need better rolled rings, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Should I be using Mark of Elder + shaper ring instead since I don't have triple WED rings? I'm not sure if the boots I have are worth using over Gang's. Still working on getting the right enchants for boots. Main question I have is concerning the bow. Is it worth me getting an additional arrow corruption on a 50% bow vs having the legacy WED on the 100% bow I already have? (I haven't PoB'd this character yet.)

And if anyone is curious, since I saw some discussion about point blank on the quiver earlier in the thread - it took me about ~18 tries to get the corruption.

I am actually trying to do that myself.

Last league there was a penta totem rat toxic rain and the math they did showed it is more dps to go minion nodes over bow nodes for them. Not sure abt this build now, as crit snd crit multi for bow are actually beneficial.

you might consider specing into "Spiritual Aid" (5 points to get there) and "Spiritual Command" (4 points to get there).

To get the 9 needed skill points, you are thinking about to undo "Lethality" and "Primeval Force"

You can´t cut off more of the right side of the skill tree, because you need the very important note "Piercing Shot" for map clearspeed and the Acrobatics notes for more survivability.

With that 9 points change from above, I lose with my currect gear about 8% total damage in PoB.

But always feel free to customize my build to your own needs.

You can also sacrifice a gem slot and take Poacher's Aim. It pierces once instead of twice, but it can potentially save you a lot of points.

So many options and alternatives, I feel there are more than one way to skin a chicken.

What would be the next step for improving my build? I'm no where near your DPS. I also feel pretty squishy in boss fights mainly due to a lack of health regen.

Pretty new to the game, this is my first league, so any tips are appreciated.

Also, I did not hit the point blank corruption after ~60 tries so I caved and bought one. Was I doing something wrong? Do you need a certain ilvl?
started this build couple days ago, had most of the uniques, and bought the rest.

so far, it has not disappointed. I am surprised more people dont play it, but I guess not everyone likes totems. Not sure what's wrong with fire and forget pets, but ok. :)

Update: doing blood runs now, and it flies. The only potential issue I see is resists. When I drop Belly of the Beast for Kaom in a couple levels, and finish the storyline and take another 30% hit, my resists will be below 75%. Only have rings and ammy to fix that. Unless I run purity of elements. But then I need to drop either Grace or Enfeeble. Seems like trading one type of safety for another.

Speaking of pets, I had a general question. Some builds out there use minion nodes to boost totems. But everything I have read directly from GGG says they do NOT count as minions. If it was changed in a patch, does anyone know which one?
@Alleykatt, there's a notable skill in the passive tree called spiritual aid, which makes buffs to minion damage affect you. The way totems work, is any buffs affecting you from the tree and auras also affects them, so taking spiritual aid and minion dmg nodes will increase totem dps, however, it's not a super huge increase in most cases.

So basically, that node (which I use frequently for all my witch summoners) affects me, which in turn affects the totems. interesting wrap around. But to get the most from it, you would need a 40% minion helm, which in this case does not work, since Frostferno is the signature item of this build. I will have to load my arc totem build to see where I allocated points...
Favourite build I ever played, and first 100! :D. Decided on some different pieces for gear, using a MF setup for mapping and more defensive options for bosses.
