[3.13] TOXIC RAIN + HERALD OF AGONY Pathfinder Build (6-8K life) (UBER ELDER done!) +VIDEO GUIDE!

Hello Angry Roleplayer,
I've been following this build for some time now. Playing it comfortably on delve , my only and biggest problem is when lag spike and stay for few seconds. It could end badly (but guess that's the same for almost every build)

So ..
With the upcoming Betrayal expansion and the new projectile skills coming with it (Lancing Steel/Shattering Steel), it seems something Similar to Toxic Rain could be done. The 100% uptime of potions of Pathfinder is very appealing, and the number of projectiles these skills fire suggest it could be treated the same.

I tried twisting the POB tree you have here, and came up with this:

I'm using "spectral throw" as the closest skill to Shattering/Lancing Steel. Though it's most likely these new skills will benefit more from extra projectiles + volley than spectral throw, so damage numbers might jump even further with all these projectiles hitting same target.

And instead of scaling explosion damage from Toxic Rain (which doesn't exist in these skills), we go all the way for poison (Phy to chaos/DoT/Added Chaos/Ailment ... etc) plus all sweet sword/dual wielding crit and damage nodes. It even add block to the formula, which is pretty decent on top of dodge/evade. Chaos Leech is even better now with melee weapons. With 100% poison chance, We can stack up to 18 instances of poison on bosses I think, and much more if there are some adds dying next to it. Even More if projectiles are close enough for all to hit bosses!

But that's all theory, and myself I'm not experienced enough to make everything work as i imagine. So I'm asking for your feedback on this tree, and my concepts, it's be much appreciated before Betrayal league start. If you please.

Not problem. Done Shaper, uber Atziri and Red elder really fast
Btw i bought a quill rain with +1arrow, so with quiver and helm enchant i've 8 pods dealing 17k chaos dmg overtime x sec.


PoB show a total of 30k dmg x sec. So i think that with optimal setup you can sure drop hearald of agony and go only for toxic rain

Let me know how well Uber Elder will go!

Anyone have like a cheat sheet for leveling gems/links and what level you get them for this build?


For example (taken from another guide that really helped me before):

Level 1 :
Frost Blades + Onslaught Support + Lesser Poison
Vaal Blight

Level 8 :
Frost Blades + Onslaught Support + Lesser Poison + Unbound Ailments

Level 10 :
Spell Totem + Wither
Whirling Blades

And so on until all the skills/links are used..

Import into path of building

Quill rain nerf seems to hit this pretty hard. I was planning on doing this as my starter. Any thoughts on viability?
