Your guess is as good as mine, but it is an extra damage over time effect. But with those gloves, bleeding enemies explode doing 5% of their life which helps AoE clear some more, especially the higher you go into Delve it could be relevant for min-maxing the mines.

I'm not so sure about this build, it's not bad i'm just not sure it competes with other t2-t1 builds. Getting worried how red maps are gonna go. I'll second that coralito's should be swapped until higher level bosses. I'm wondering if respecing to poison BV would feel a little better. I'll keep pl aying until I get breath and beyond to make money (this build is great for delving so far) and see how it goes.

I too am concerned, but I think there may be ways to scale it. I am just not familiar enough with poison and chaos builds, so I'm not sure what kind of top-tier items we have in terms of being able to build around, or what potential options there are.

Because viper strike is a targeting skill, and we using claw mean that the range is way to shit you have to literaly jump into the pack and hit. Since it's build only for single dps and only sub in for melee splash for aoe make it's not better either. The minion from the herald ai is kinda bad and in map that has wall and shit it's 90% of the time hit the wall. I switch to BF and it's feel like 10 time better. And believe me with the minion setup like in the op post the clear speed is not that good, i have to sub in pierce for him to even feel good with clear speed.

You can use attack without moving or shift button as well = you now have BF. BF Also isn't a Chaos Skill so you actually have less range than BF. BF also doesn't get Unholy Might nor scaling from jewel.

You're talking about Pierce as it's a bad thing. Pierce is a MORE multiplier which I even use in my VPS Elementalist build. Already for damage, it's one of the best options. I have no clue what this bad minion AI is and I clear maps super fast on a 5L although I have money for 20 6 links already.
