Kay, when do you plan to upgrade PoH and EB \ MoM builds? Or its final versions?

I've been wondering what people would like to see. I can make a low budget version or high budget. Actually low budget is easy. It's mostly just swap W&S for PoH. High budget is quite different.

I d actually be interested in a high budget one.

I finally have 5ex saved up, can someone explain to me exactly how I'm supposed to use that money to get the delve body armor from the spiders+spectres section? I don't know the first thing about delve or crafting or meta crafting. what even makes a body armor a "delve" one?

I'd be very interested to know how to craft the body armor as well!
I am running the EB / MOM version of this build but I am starting to struggle with dying lots and killing bosses now that I am getting into red maps.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Heey!
First, thanks for the guide, they are VERY complete and very usefull, helped me a lot starting gaming, ty so much.

So, I'm using the Pledge of hands /eb & mon
I've a question!

Now I'm using the Stone Golem gem, but I was reading a little more your guide and saw the equips u can put in a animate guardian...

Which one do u think is better for this build?
(I'm using Solar Guard right now, but thinking about have Slave Driver for some bosses too)

Thanks for the help!

AG is better, but if it dies all the gear on AG also dies. Only use AG if you can replace the gear easily. Or try using the 'cheap' version first.

So, If i'm using AG, the gems on the chest will be:

- AG
- Minion Life Support
- Meat Shield
- Raise Zombie
- Summon Skeletons

And the 6, Feeding Frenzy Support?

:D

to simplify things for this build, delve chests are those that have a +1 to maximum number of spectres mod already on them. they cant be crafted and that mod only drops inside delve minion nodes.
here are some examples of a delve chest https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Delirium/05jmbSg

to make things easier for you in colouring u should look for an int base(just put min 1 under es).

if u wanna go all out and craft something like what kay has, u have to
1. delve chest with +1 spec with high hp base
2. annul everything else off (risky since the delve mod can be annulled off) (2 prefix 0 suffix)
3. multimod (2 prefix 1 suffix)
4. craft life as extra es (3 prefix 1 suffix)
5. hunter orb and hope for offering mod (3 prefix 2 suffix)
6. craft dual res (3 prefix 3 suffix)
7(optional). hillock bench from syndicate to get high quality
8. 6 link

if your chest already has 1 high res on it u can leave it, just make sure it has 3 prefixes before slamming the hunter orb

not cheap to make since step 1 already costs quite a bit and u might have to repeat a few tries if the annul goes wrong.

the offering mod is optional imo, just bis

pls correct me if i screw up somewhere, 3am here.

wow that sounds really expensive, is 5ex even enough for a good one?

it really depends on whats your definition of good.
for me right now a 6l +1 spec chest with other trash mods is pretty good already

can just use that as a placeholder first to farm more currency.

Well, its 3rd week of league already. Would be nice to seee high budget version.
great build guide btw thanks just one question would you say that the large cluster jewel you have on the spider variant would be worth while on the pledge of hands version also?

I don't think I understand the spider spawning mechanics fully

I find the 1st pack of mobs, let my spectres take them down to 1 hp, desecrate, get some spiders. They then kill stuff and basically chain and refresh themselves when old ones run out. But what I've noticed is that sometimes, spider kills don't spawn new ones when their numbers are uncapped. If poison kills count as players kills and we have 100% chance to spawn, shouldn't spider kills spawn new ones whenever available?

Also, what do you do when your spiders run out during boss fights without adds? Is that just not a problem because spectres are strong enough? Just started maps, so haven't ran into this problem yet, but I'm just curious if it's troublesome later

I noticed this as well. Are you using Redemption Sentry? The problem is that RS has some attacks that are 100% elemental. So if those kill the spiders, then no poison and no spawn.

The spectres can handle bosses without spiders.
Don't believe that's it since as long as you don't have any fire damage on them, they can't ignite and so nothing actually dies.

---

I did some testing and there's quite a few things going on here:

- First, there's a 2 second cooldown on spawning spiders (It's listed on the character sheet when you mouse over the Raise Spiders ability). So if there's no corpses on the ground when the ability goes off, you have to wait till the next activation opportunity.

- Second, it requires "nearby" corpses. This is centered on the player, not around whatever was killed. It's relatively small, best guess is about 35 units. If you like to speed past everything like I do, you can easily outrun the carnage and not have corpses near you when the ability goes off.

- Third, spiders don't have any kind of refresh mechanic and you cannot spawn new spiders till the old ones expire. This means if you spawned all 20 spiders at once, they are all going to die at the same time. If either of the above cause you to fail to spawn spiders shortly after they all die, you'll have to spawn them manually again.

---

The best thing I can think of to try to keep the spiders rolling is to do the following at the start of your maps:
1) Spawn your first batch of spiders using only a single desecrate (so only spawn 10 spiders)
2) Wait a bit before moving on (ideally 15 seconds, but 5 should probably suffice)

That way you ensure your spider's deaths are spread apart giving you ample time to respawn them. Usually when I run into trouble is after I die the first time because now there's corpses everywhere and I end up spawning 20 at once when I get back so they're all synchronized.

EDIT: Also if you're low, start throwing desecrates at your feet as it takes a small number spiders a while to kill things and get enough corpses out to replenish quickly.
