Thanks for the feedback! It's good to know people do all content with the starter build and you don't need to 'upgrade' to the other builds.

I've heard good things about the preachers, so I think I need to check them out.

Because they use lightning orb, they could be really good with PoH and slower proj.

can anyone tell me good spectre for bossing prefer physical damage. i use spider for the map clearing thank you

It should be possible, but it's really random with alt spam.
The fossil just makes 'minion' more more likely. There is only one 'minion' tag for boots.

SG is still the best pure mapping spectre. It has good damage, fast casting speed, special aoe attack and good hp. And they do enough damage for endgame bosses.

Most of the new spectres don't have fast casting, so are actually not as good :(

Just try redemtion sentry, they are very good their skill alway piere so save u a gem slot and the freeze mob too

If you look at LIFE/MANA/ES numbers, attributes numbers and increased damage numbers, you see how disparate jewelry - jewels - armour are in the comparisons:
Abyssal jewel can roll up to 40 life, 40 ES, but not even half of that in a "single line" intelligence (16 max, whereas "8 to all attributes gives 24 as sum") or strength. the resistances are very low too, for jewels. Also abyss jewels provide an outrageous 20% minions damage constant (if you use minion skill recently: 99% of time. When I think about what stats and mods have where in my RARE armour/jewelry/passive tree notes/jewels, I take into account the ranges of the numbers, and honestly, that Minion damage is decent at 30% (35% even), but u cannot reroll it, the redeemer version gives max 25% (low occurrence rates thou) which is welcomed but id rather have 50 of any attribute (I run a lowlife (shavronnes' and prism guardian) mana guardian with spectres and SRS, and i need that dex and Str for the auras, and scale inteligence into mana and into ES (up til last season, strength, not anymore since nerfs)

And because spider are doing the map clear, the sentries can focus on single target damage.

I think the first 4 gems would be:
1. Raise Spectre
2. Minion Damage
3. Vicious Proj
4. Deathmark

Then:

5. Elemental Damage with Attack.
They do 75% cold conversion, so you don't get the full effect of this support like the first 4.

6. Damage on Full Life
If you take Grave Intentions, they should get about 10-14k ES and there is some leech, so will be on full life most of the time.


This sounds really interesting actually. I don't know when I'll get around to trying it, so if anyone does, please post back in the forum.

Trying these out. So far, I like them a lot. A lot of clear speed + good single target damage. With clear, I'm using LMP and haven't really had to change. For end game bosses, might swap that out for damage on full life or hypothermia.

Hi Kay,regarding your spider and spec build, is it viable to use POH for end game bossing?

if I have AG for culling aura,do I still need to slot culling strike gem on vic shield for weapon swap?

What is the replacement of culling strike gem?

Do I have to refund Disciple of Kitava every time I need to replace a dead spectre or there is an easier way?

Use Desecrate in your hideout. It can spawn any Spectre that ever existed in that instance. So if you have at least one of the Spectre you want or it existed there in that instance before, you can get it.
