Yeah im kinda bummed about the change, im not using scales for damage, im using them exactly for the distracting army they create. I'm not even a full summoner, just someone that wants utility spectres. This is a straight up mid-league nerf for my build.

I only started playing PoE at the end of metamorph.

I need help. please look over my gear, esp my gem setup.
I only have 3links and a 4link chest

I am about to give the build up and start something else.
At this point I wonder if it is even possible to do a full fog map and simulacrum.
I can't get thru cruel lab, I get one_shot by Itzaro even before final battle, done it more than ten times.
I play on PS4 so trading is possible but not easy and my currency is close to nothing.
I followed the basic build setup from Kay. I must say that levelling wasnt a breeze and I have the impression that loot drops much lesser and is of lower quality than my metamorph arc witch that I played till T3 maps.
I hope to find some joy back in playing PoE .

I still don't know whether or not being limited to 3 spiderlings makes SOE better or worse. I remember someone testing them on sirus and finding that they hindered SOE's AI from pathing correctly to Sirus and hitting him with spells. Still hoping SOE will be better with this change.

I played one SOE too because it spawned minions, it seemed to help defensively while mapping.

For haste and hatred, you can check my tree. I have a point near soreveignity where I get 4% reduced mana reserve which allows us to have both auras.
Regarding phase run, I dropped it since I changed the build a lil bit :)

You need the passive that reduces the mana reservation (Sovereignty). The one near the top left. As for phase run, IMO its for the on use added speed boost.

As for me I use skitter bots rather than haste right now since i do not have lots of dex.


As for me, should I think of switching to EB&MOM or stick to spider? I love the map clearing of the spiders and I do not know how EB & MOM Compare to that and even the boss fights with EVF is good. Or should I just think of switching directly to POH and EB&MOM?

Hey dude, here are a few options:

1. Act 9 Blood Aqueduct - Farm Humility cards for Tabula Rasa (6 link body unique body armour). Time: 90 minutes - a few hours

2. Act 8 Harbour Bridge - Clear the full map with Delirium on. Stack rewards, some of which will be currency. Buy cheap 6 link with currency. You'll need decent movespeed on boots. Time: 30 minutes - a few hours

@BryaTro can't see your characters, set your profile public so we can help. Generally I would say if you really lack currency first take Commander of darkness which will help your gearing because of the 30% all resist, then take Mistress of sacrifice and use bone offering, these should help you survive.
But from what you say your problem lies in your gear as you lack links, skill gems can't carry you alone without support gems.
