Hi,

New player here, 1st league and following this build. Just starting end game, just t3 maps and ofc my SD is not dying yet. I am reading the forums and how do I progress? I mean do I have to like fully gear my Starter Build then start looking at EB MOM build or POH Build or the spider build? When do I start looking at the other builds which seems more powerful than the standard? When I got the unique? I do not want to spend a lot of time on standard build if I am going to change soon? Looks like I want to look at the EVF Spider build.

lol lunar guards are not Enhanced Vaal Fallen

take out your spectre gem and put it in the inventory, undo it and do not desecrate beforehand. I promise you won't get one.

I've found another clear option, which seems to work quite well on T16 maps: Dancing Duo.

Staying alive is a bit challenging, but I'm sure will get easier once I upgrade some gear and gems. But for Sirus probably will need to use something else, as I don't have a solution for keeping the swords up between phases.

I kept spending regrets trying to make them work with defensive nodes and the new jewels and did not manage. Seems much easier to just pick one of the new ones with 400-500% hp and go full dmg.

Fortify aoe is really small, so I recommend Meat Shield support if you want the defensive AG.

I think a lot of new content is really rippy so old school spectres will die easily because most of them only have 100% life. The new league monsters generally hve 300-500% life and are super tanky, but they don't use 'skill gems' now and GGG balanced their big hit with a big cooldown. So many of the new spectres are actually pretty bad for mapping.

1. I think SG is a better mapping spectre because it has a long range fireball. The special beam can also clear whole packs.

2. SG uses 'fireball' so Conc Effect will support their damage. It's 54% more compared to 49% more on Ele Focus.
Deathmark is important for boss killing. If you mark a boss with dm, you can move until the boss is offscreen and the spectres will keep attacking. The spectres can even be offscreen. If you move away from the boss without DM, your spectres will leash back to you.

3. If you use 5 spectres, there is enough coverage with LMP. At level 20, it only has 6% less damage, so you can kill bosses without a gem swap. GMP is a little overkill and does 26% less damage.
I actually prefer to use Awakened Fork because LMP and GMP are both bad for indoor maps.

4. SG is better. SD range is too short and monsters get too close to the pump. If you use PoH, GFR is better because mag orb pierce. Chisel and oil is most profitable because it affects the chests. alch only changes loot explosion.
