havnt seen the two white sockets, my bad! You have to try it with Path of Building, but at first glance i think that the dmg will be at best the same.

With PoB atm just checked Spectres have 451M DPS, not sure this is good, decent or bad :) And not sure if I need to check somewhere in PoB Spectres numbers, 4, 5 or 6, couldn't see something about how many Spectres are used.

If I get Empower 4 and move Spectres to Helm then I need to move in there also and Minion Damage and Ele Focus Support I guess? :) Or something else like Spell Echo? Which 2 from these 3 will be better to be with Spectre gem? :))

And I guess that even if I managed to get same DPS as it is now 451M with 6 instead of 5 Spectres clearing the mobs must be faster than before cause I will have one more Spectre to kill mobs/bosses? :) Right?

After that I will need to move my Carrion Golem and Raise Zombies gems into the Chest, but then again not sure which other 4 gems must be place in there along these two :))

Anyone can help with some advice? :)

Slight alteration to passive tree

With this change, we lose 10 str and 10 int and gain one passive point. Thoughts?

This path was the original idea, but Convoking wand 'Requires Level 72, 242 Int'. I went through the int node to make gear simpler and easier.

It is definitely something people can do on their own.

Yes, what Kayella said. I started on that path seeing that it could save a passive point but had to shift over to Kay's. If you happen to have a +attributes or a +Int on a piece of gear, you can go that way, otherwise, you sit right at 242 Int, which you need for the Convoking Wand.

To note is, that the Staff/Warstaff/Bow setup does not require any different passive tree than the pledge of hands build from this guide. at least according to my PoB they provide roughly the same dmg, even a bit more. Although i'm 100% sure that i have missed something in my PoB setup and dmg is actually a bit more than shown for me.

I try to test 2 staff version. I though (in theory ) the +2 spell gem would better than +1 socked gem.
But in PoB, the +1 socked give more dmg. Testing with your own build ( which use Wrath, zealotry and haste).
Can you test it?

test of item should be:
Pandemonium Pillar
Maelstrom Staff

Lolz, sorry, my mistake! :) 451K not M... :)) guess I was flying too high with these numbers... ;)
By the way, I was checking out a Ice Shot Deadeye build which was also labeled as a "Great Beginner Build". In looking through the whole build (which is pretty cool/fun) I noticed that several pieces of gear were 1-2 EX. I would say that it is a 4-5 EX without even getting to min/max. Not raining the builder's parade, but that isn't a very beginner friendly build. Perhaps it's the discussion of the build details and synergies that warrants a "beginner" title. Now, this build is what I would say is rightfully a true Beginner Build. If you look at my profile (it's a mess, but that is my point), you'll see that I am still progressing to the final build. Still running 4 link Spectres, 4 link Zombs and 4 link Skellies with lowish health and ES, doing T15/16 maps, and all on self-found gear (have to say that the wand Trigger craft was provided by an extremely nice fellow forum poster)(just can't seem to find better gear without doing a lot of self-crafting which I am still both a noob at and also a little poor). To me, that defines a "Great Beginner Build". Hats off to Kayella not only for developing the build with good explanations, but also taking the time to tweak it and engage with all of people playing the build. Well done.

P.S. How do you include picture of your gear in a post? Just can't figure that out. TIA

When you're writing a forum post, click your character on top left corner. Then just click your items which you wish to link and the links appear to your post.
Testing atm 6 Spectres, they have now 407K DPS like 40K less than before with 5.

But that is not my main concern. I can clearly see now when FF is not linked with Spectres that as people are saying they mostly stick around me and aren't that aggressive as they were before with FF.

And the big question now is if it is worth to have 6 Spectres w/o FF and seems doing at least slightly worst job with killing or to have 5 Spectres and FF linked to them and to cover more area and being like more aggressive... eh!

Honestly is really hard to tell which is better...any opinions, ideas? :)

Hey! I did a quick test:
With the "+2 all spell" my spectres do, at least according to pob, 1.271.283 damage each.
With the "+1 socketed gem" warstaff, they would do 1.270.424 damage.

Staff (+2 all spell ): https://pastebin.com/dK4DMmRg
Warstaff (+1 socketed): https://pastebin.com/Dm8Vscvy
(I hope that works, never have made a pastebin befor.)

So, even if my calculations may be wrong (for example checked a wrong box or left one out), there is definitely not any noticable difference between staff and warstaff.

[edit:] forgot to add 81% increased minion damage to staff. after applying it, the damage is nearly the same

I took FF out of the links because I play aggressively by running or flame dashing into monsters. I didn't notice a difference, but if it's better for you, please change it.

I almost always play with PoH, so I'm stuck with 5 spectres :\
