Craft Prefixes cant be changed, then scour it, which leaves you with +1 spectre and the life prefix, after that multimod it.

Is the Vis Mortis (6L)chest a better option than a standard +1 Spectre 6 link? (In terms of DPS) or are they about the same?

With new raise spectre gem changes i raises my spectres without changing weapon. You just need to go to Control Blocks, desecrate 2 times and use raise zombie on all corpses instead of Slave Drivers. After that you can raise spectres with pladge and spell echo

The dps gained is like 400k total sharper dps with the +1 chest. While considering the build did not need dps before I would go with whatever gives the most tank to you.

Also works If you just raise 1 slave driver on any cast and do the same thing in hideout.

that's a net gain of 440k dps, it's definitly going to add to clear speed and it's going to add to survivability with life roll at the very least.

For cost and ease of access, especially considering that the wand & shield build requires a 6-link.

You can find 6-link Vis for under 3ex now. Done. Ready to steamroll the content.

To craft your rare chest, an int-base +1 chests starts around 1.5ex, probably more if you want a decent life roll or an open prefix. If there's no open prefix, you play annul lottery with a high chance to brick. Then you have to socket and link it. Costs can easily spiral out of control and leave someone feeling frustrated.

This is why I only recommend it for the Pledge builds because they don't require a 6L and can easily use strength base body armour.

Sorry, but that is just a very rude comment that this guide really doesn't deserve.

Even if you had only followed the leveling guide section right at the start of the league, which is an extremely detailed walkthrough and couldn't be easier to understand for a new player, you would end up with a character facerolling the entire main story and easily getting you into maps. The outdated gear selection at the league start had no impact on the leveling speed or survivability.

I guess one helpful addition would have been adding an additional note about Spell Echo & Raise Spectre in the walkthrough to avoid the common mistake of raising the wrong mobs.

I actually quite like Bone Barrier and I think it could be a replacement for Commander.

I've kept Commander because it's not possible for PS4/XBone players to run with Zombies, so they're limited to 5 or 6 minions and will get a lesser buff if they went with Bone.

Might still be worth changing, though, because of the increased recovery.

You need to set up your Syndicate so everyone hates everyone. Then, it becomes easier to keep Vorici in the research lab (along with ITF).
