Kay's Summoner Memorial Page | New Guide is linked inside!

Hi kayella thy for fantastic build yesterday i beat all corrupted guardians and shaper.Never done fights so quick damage with SD is insane i have some life on my items for minions and it helps mutch .
Great to see this build found new awesome spectres!
I'm trying them out now (Slave Drivers) and they are insanely strong DPS-wise.

One question - the crafting section used to have the guide for crafting the +3 minion helm, it's gone now? Can you add it back kayella? I'm going for the Zombie + AG variant with Flesh Binder again :)
Shavronne wrapped Kaom's waist,

Cheers to Inferius for asking and Kayella for the prompt reply. Your youtube link appears broken but I went to your channel to have a watch. I spent some time considering the staves before deciding to go with the wand for myself, in case anyone was curious I'll share my on paper results.
Spoiler

- Wand + Charity (frenzies) + Flesh Offering (autocasting) = 568,519 DPS
- Wand can be multimodded to add cast speed = 608,796 DPS

- Pledge of hands + Flesh offering = 533,599 DPS
- Pledge of hands w/o Flesh offering (not autocasting) = 440,082 DPS

- Multimod power charge on crit staff + Flesh = 551,241 DPS
- Multimod power charge on crit staff w/o Flesh = 469,038 DPS

Wand + Shield has the highest damage, auto casts offering & the frenzy charges grant minion movement speed. Downside is that it does not have the 18% block of staves

Pledge cannot be multimodded for more damage but is cheaper to obtain a base copy. Gains additional AOE on repeat casts. Con is that it only gives its 52% More damage when all 4 casts are completed and hit the target. The projected damage will not be true if the specters get leashed or if the target teleports, becomes immune, moves or dies during the gap. 100% increased mana is there too which is neat

Multimod staff has good damage and the high crit is neat, could swap out gems for shock/shattering. 45% increased minion life would help keep the spectres alive. Does require multimodding to be good putting it 2-3ex above the pledge in projected cost

Craftable multimod staff is
Spoiler

- Socketed Gems are supported by Level 18 Power Charge On Critical Strike
- Minions have 45% increased maximum Life
Minions deal 45% increased Damage
- +2 to Level of Socketed Support Gems
- Minions have 28% increased Attack Speed
Minions have 28% increased Cast Speed
- Can have multiple Crafted Modifiers
- Any 6th Sufix, Resistances or Attributes

After playing with auto cast flesh offering and convocation I don't think I can go back, its feel is just too fluid/convenient for me, much better then my last minion build using a +3 bow.

I think at this stage of theorycrafting/testing. Trigger wand + shield is THE dps set up. Nothing can beat it. DPS is great, smoothness is great (BV+fire). I feel like, apart from finding ways to reserve more mana and get more auras, the build has reached the top end of dps without becoming a total glass cannon.

Pledge of Hands is THE defensive build. The great thing is that even with the drop in dps, SDs still pump out a lot of DPS (are your calculations correct?), especially considering that a single spectre was able to carry my UberE fight from the second portal phase till end. AG isn't even needed for extra dps (with debuff, etc). I'm not sure what uber is doing with regards to a guide, but if he doesn't cover it, I might add it to my build as a defensive version of 'Big DPS Summoner'.

So about the defensive options Pledge gives, we can ignore the right side of the tree and go for staff block passives, as well as going with Mistress + Bone Offering.

It's possible to get the Offering on trigger with the helmet craft 'trigger socketed spells on focus'. So something like Desecrate + Cascade + Offering + Inc Duration in the helmet with the craft. Focus has a 12s cooldown. So we should have enough uptime on the offering.

One thing that's not evident in the UberE fight is that PoH + Inc aoe makes the SDs attack reach across the screen (after the repeat) which adds a lot to their clear speed.

It's quite an exciting development.

If you want to get a better idea of their DPS -

used Bearded Shaman in POB as the base, select their shock nova

and add a custom jewel, edit it and paste the following

Slavedriver spectres
Cobalt Jewel
Quality: 0
LevelReq: 0
Implicits: 0
Spectres have 15% reduced Cast Speed
Spectres have 50% more Cast Speed
Minions deal 757 to 2268 additional Lightning Damage

thanks to Uberelite for that

Should be around 600k to 2.5 million DPS in most setups at level 84 spectres. Even at level 68 they are already over 500k....

Don't forget to untick the jewel when comparing to other spectres :P

Adding a frenzy ape to the Pledge of hands setup is actually not a bad idea with just 3 Slavedrivers, especially since not all of them can get get souleater from the Undying hunger jewel

For pledge of hands, in POB, you have edit out the Greater Spell Echo in POB and add the line

socketed gems deal 35% more spell damage
Socketed gems have 50% increased area of effect

Then socket the spectres into it

They also repeat 2 additional times so the damage is higher than it appears on paper, and may not need spell echo.
Since spell echo has the less damage modifier on it

---

With Pledge of hands, You can also use the timeless jewel that chances a notable node on the tree into the Glancing Blows node, doubles your block chance, but also allowing 50% of damage through from anything that is blocked
With bone offering you should just about cap your block
That should allow you to not get one shot by anything, unlike a regular all or nothing block

You get about 600 life back on block with bone offering so it cancels out the damage somewhat.
Add armour and molten shell and Fortify, your EHP should be really good!

Well look at that. In 3.0, I played spectre for the first time, and SG were the name of the game. In 3.5, I started SG, then realized RVA's were a thing, and switched to that. Now, I'm sitting on a lvl 88 RVA MoM spectre/zomb build and I've only just realized there's a new hype in Spectre Town. The damage seems admirable, though the hp multi of 1 makes me worried; I wouldn't even ID maps with RVA, since they wouldn't die to reflect anyway. But the helmet 6L is very alluring.

Yet as much as I love my RVA's, my pre-league assumption of "I can pick up acro instead of the templar wheel and still do enough damage" was wrong. There is no "enough damage", and though survivability is stellar, I can barely run my temples if there's a resto shrine, and as I get higher in maps things are surviving for an unacceptable amount of time. Which is dicey.

My "I can make my own tree on the fly" skills are truly humbled here. The auto-cast wand is genius; I selfcast, and have my offering up around 20% of the time due to me forgetting stuff. Using blind as a pseudo second curse is also new to me; I usually just used culling.

The AG seems a little... I mean, i've never tried them, but I might just replace him as I'm noticing a severe lack of zombies in this build. We must fix that. And if I squeeze my eyes and blink a few times, I notice that there's only one 6L here, and that, while we have that OP helmet, those unset ring can just be spare chest slots, further reducing the entry cost.

I like it. I'm gonna play it. I've slightly modified the tree here as I felt Purity of Flesh made more sense than Tireless (and that brings you next to the sovereignty cluster, and...), and I have high hopes for this. I love necro's to death and this one has a lot of potential.

I can not use Wrath, Zealotry and Dread Banner because I need 106% Mana reserved. I kept going by your Passive Trees but I think I overlook something?
lucky corrupt :)

for the DPS inclined :p
Good for leveling

Have you looked at the updated tree? The levelling tree in the levelling guide is outdate atm. I'll fix it up on the weekend.

I was curious what the numbers would be like with my Synthesis gear (now in standard) with the Shaman hack...

Tried the SD's... Few Things and some thoughts. legion.

DPS is good. Legion clear is good. Legion unlock is not so good.

SG aoe with phantasms is pretty decent for legion unlock. If your loot hunting your not doing red maps anyway. Always loved the higher risk lower rewards on red maps.

If I was doing shaper/elder runs... SD's all the way.

Thoughts... with legion jewels and how easy it is to get minion health now should we be looking at low health high dps specs now. Mobs we would normally bypass because of poor survivability?

Well, it is a figure, my PoB shows something crazy as well. I can't believe it's for real.

I decided to stay with Kaom's Heart and pseudo six-link, though Shaper gloves with Blind support is a must (had to fit Flame Dash somewhere),
still sometimes getting one-shotted by 80+ Catharina and T15 Elder.

Will totally try to reset the character, switch the right side of the tree for armour/life version, just need the proper equipment with more dexterity.

Man, I'm a noob in PoE, but this build is awesome, thanks to the OP for details, support and being so active and responsive.

Kayella, may Mirrors drop for you like rain in each league, this build is FOR EVER.
