Just did 4 army battle with FEs, not great news tbh, 1/3 of loot i got with SGs, managed to kill only 3 generals.


Also with FEs my xp/h dropped from 50m to 18

would be great if you could "save" your spectres, the same way your AG can be saved.

So you dont have to sacrifie a shaper set to get the highest spectre level.
Glad you can run into your delve and just summon T16 level spectres again, but still, SG against bosses is not the best choice duo to their ramp up ka-me-ha-me-ha and short delay of spelltravel.

You can summon lvl 84 spectres in last room of Oba's Cursed Trove cant you tho, is lvl 84 monsters here.

There is no need to sacrifice a set in the first place. As you are apparently unaware L83 Spectres are just as viable as L84 ones and there are other ways to get to L84 areas.

If you are unable to deal with the short amount of delay they need to start shooting, then use other spectres. Frost/Flame Sentinels fire constantly but are weaker.

To further make it clear for all of you: SGs are perfectly capable of doing any content in the game (hogm excluded), and if you aren't able to do it, the problem lies in front of your monitor.

Guys, can you explain one thing.
Before this day I've been playing a lot with flame sentinels, and now I decided to try out solar guards. In my opinion, they are much slower for mapping. They cover less area, thus less mobs to kill per second. When we speak about legion, we must ensure we kill as many mobs as possible in order to survive.
So I don't understand why most people prioritize FLAME<solar<fire guys from ledge
.

Fire guys might be better for boss killing, but their aoe is pretty descend comparing to both fs and sg.
I used the same gem setup for all three spectres, you may check my profile. Also I appreciate any suggestions about my current equipment

Flame Sentinels have built-in LMP and one of their projectiles forks. That means if you use GMP (although LMP would be sufficient) it's obvious that 1-3 + X projectiles + fork are clearing 'better'.

SGs are preferred because they have a significant higher base damage and thus they cover enough area by using GMP whilst having better single target damage than FSs.

'Fire Guys' don't have AoE skills.

As you are pretty close to the thread's creator build you should be clearing everything. Or what's your problem?
If you lack clear speed you could try out 1-2 'Fire Guys' and 2-3 FSs and/or SGs.

I put the test build together on standard because I have all the needed gems there.

Damage is pretty good. Fun to watch bosses get chunked. Clearspeed is definitely not good, so you need to use Arakaali's Fang on a weapon swap for mapping.


I don't know if this will be good for Legion or Delve, though.

Ah, you are using Enhanced Vaal Fallen.

I tried them out once but seeing as they are slow AF they aren't really usable apart from single target only ... but when they hit, they hit HARD.

Yeah that's where Arakaali's Fang comes in. Spider for clearing maps. Spectre for chunking the boss.

I really wish to see UE with those, i'm afraid of portal phase
