The ones with only 2 notables would require you to spend an extra 2 points to allocate them. When you use a 3 notable cluster, you can save 2 passive points. You just don't path to the 3rd notable.

Make sure to check in pob which ones are the best to use because not all large clusters with three notables have renewal and feasting fiends in the same location.

If you take only 2 notables, you'll have to spend more points on the circle to get to the medium jewels. Try inserting different jewels into PoB, you'll see how it changes.

Is it normal for the pure SO build with one cluster jewel set to not deal enough dps to Catarina? I barely did 25% after 3 portals. I don't have the awakened gems and the swap weapons set but besides that I pretty much have it completed.

Are Baranite Inquisitors a good spectre? Health pool and dmg wise. They look cool.

Little confused on the Large Cluster Jewel. I assume we want Feasting Fiends + Renewal but does that Primordial mod matter? Can it just me anything else or what is the point of it? I don't see it taken on any trees. Someone told me mess with PoB but that is a cluster fuck to me sadly. :(

Basically, you need a 3rd notable on cluster so that the Renewal and FF notables will be positioned nearer. Without it, or with a wrong 3rd notable, Renewal or FF may be on the far end of the circle, you will need more passives to reach them. (That's why 'wrong' position jewel is priced less on trade, usually).

There is no way in game to check the position other than to socket the actual jewel. You need to buy exact notables or check POB to know their positions.

That's just another stupid little thing GGG wants to push to us.

Hey... I am using Artless Assassin Spectre's... and I am noticing that when they attack, things melt.. but they seem to not attack very often (same with other spectre's)

It has been a few season since I played a summoner build, did something change where the Minions just freeze in place and don't attack for a bit?
