anyone have some syndicate operators i could raise from?
Does the "Word of Grave" glove enchant mess up Elemental Equilibrium? Wiki says it deals cold damage, but its also a minion so I'm not sure how that interaction would work. Is it even worth having it?

It's a lot better than it looks because the heal applies instantly and therefore it pretty much negate any attacks below a certain threshold. This threshold can be calculated with this formula

formula
damage healed per hit= (heal amount * proc chance) / (full damage chance + blocked damage chance * blocked damage amount)



Given block amount of 5% of your health, a 75% block chance, and the 35% reduced damage from glancing blows this simplifies down to 7.3% of you life pool.

For my character, this means that any attacks that average less than ~550 won't usually kill me. In fact, if they are smaller hits then they will heal me instead.

I don't even have increased life recovery from my belt or fortify. Those two upgrades would make it so that I can ignore attacks that are less than ~800 damage.

This is particularly good for situations like Heist or Delirium where large number of enemies are very dangerous and you don't just need to worry about individual large attacks. In the end, this is something you will need to try for yourself and see if you prefer this defensive layer or the extra damage.

Here is a comparison of the health regeneration of max block Glancing Blows compared to Glancing Blows at different block amounts. As you can see, Glancing Blows is easily worth it between 37%-50% block rate.

Block gets even better as you get higher, eventually turning you nearly invulnerable to non-boss characters. Unfortunately it's really difficult to reach those block amounts, particularly for spellblock.

75% block: 7.3% life

No Glancing Blows
80% block: 20% life
75% block: 15% life
50% block: 5% life
37% block: 3% life
25% block: 1.25% life


One last thing is that this build does not have good access to life regeneration. With it's large health pool it can be hard to keep it full. Most life flasks can only go so far.

There are a variety of ways to mitigate this, such as the Devouring Diadem or unique flasks that can fully heal you. A life on block setup pretty much solves the problem of chip damage. Even if you are regularly taking stray hits you will still stay near full health.

No, it does not trigger EE since it's a minion. It doesn't deal good damage and isn't worth scaling. On the other hand, there are not any really good options for the glove enchant slot so it's not a bad option.

One interesting use case would be to put your Hextouch - Curse - Brand links in your gloves. This way the Hextouch - Curse part would apply to the generated minions as a secondary way to apply it without manually casting the brand. This would also apply to Feeding Frenzy or Elemental Army.

which option would i i have more surivablity if i choose the

a - Garb of the Ephemeral
b - A chest piec with max life, and nearby enemies are blinded
So here is my two cents about this build. It went pretty smooth until red maps with 4 Syndicate Operatives until I fought Sirus.
Damage is pretty good however I found myself getting one-shotted way too much recently, even with 6.5k EHP. I guess I need more phys resistance (sitting at 50% w/ flasks on).

Which build are you using for the carrion golem build? Does it cost a lot to do end game stuff or at least T16 maps?
I dont have triad groves yet, so my SO is doing pure physical damage i think, what is the best link for it? I am currently running spec + minion damage + viscious + volley + echo + brutality and skitterbot aura, any inputs for improvement? thx
How big is the difference in damage if you replace regular gem with Awakened?

I followed the basic build but used Syndicate Operatives. I'm quite unsure if the gems are correct as they are.
@Kay: could you please add recommendations to use alternative spectres with the basic build and not only for the pure build?

I anointed my amulett and got Death Attunement without following the path. Where should i invest the points.

Why am inot changing to spiders or pure? I can't afford the best items for AG and with the cheap items they die ever so often. Even if i would have the money i think i would be to much of a coward to invest it in AG ;-)
So i basically look for a forgiving (tanky) build without AG.

And of course a big thanks to kay for the perfectly maintained builds
