" Very interesting. Keep writing. 11k ES wow very good. What class is easier to start in the league? |

" What do you think of that build with Sign of the Sin Eater Tyrant Sekheim and a guardian socketed in it? https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2511248 I'm thinking instead of Fire eaters, you roll with Ice Sentinels. The problem is that we are looking at 100% less life/dmg from necromancer and -97% from mace. Last edited by andreicde#0793 on Jun 2, 2019, 2:41:21 PM

" I'm not sure if Sign of the Sin Eater will be useful for this build. You could equip it on the AG to get elemental ailment immunity, but you will give up Kingmaker for that. Kingmaker gives fortify, and flasks give elemental ailment immunity. You don't want to equip it on your Summoner because you lose the 95% minion damage on wand, as well as the trigger craft. - Frost Sentinels are very good. If you look at the Advanced Builds section, Magritte has created a Crit Frost Sentinel build that breezes through the context. However, Frosties can be murder to your GPU and your eyes. 🔰🌀✨ Video guides on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/KayGaming ✨🌀🔰

" Firstly, if you use this build, you don't even need to be a Necromancer (or a Witch) to be able to kill Shaper. As demonstrated in this video:(Berserker Summoner vs Shaper) https://youtu.be/H7l99YXFilc. Now, the main issue is that you can't follow the passive tree of the current version of this build; you'd have to follow an older version (pre-3.6). But, if you open the following spoilers, you can see how the Occultist tree has significant overlap with the pre-3.6 tree:
Pre-3.6 passive tree
Proposed Occultist Summoner tree
If you consider those two points, you could actually level up with an unascended witch and make a decision much later about whether you want to go Necro or Occy! If people are interested in having this choice, I could rewrite the guide to account for it. 🔰🌀✨ Video guides on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/KayGaming ✨🌀🔰

Looks like we've reached the end of Synthesis league. It was a wild ride. Before the patch notes for 3.6 came out this was an obscure build with only 11 pages of replies and basically no player interest. We ended the league at page 155!
I'd like to thank to all the people who gave the build a try in Synthesis, all the people sharing Cannibal Fire-Eaters early in the league, all the people who gave suggestions to improve the build and, especially, the build contributors. Now we just wait for 3.7 patch notes and hope there aren't any class breaking changes. The most interesting thing will be to see where Necromanic Aegis has been moved to. Keep an eye on the build guide as I'll be updating it once the patch notes are released, and if I have enough time, the Occultist variant.

Has anyone read the development Manifesto put out this evening? Just curious if you've noticed any changes that have helped/hurt this build? I'm sure we will know with the patch notes. But sometimes the Manifesto gives clues. I'm just bad at seeing them lol

" I'll take a stab at it... Striking multiple targets - This will likely help our early-game leveling if we want to use melee skills or rely on Zombies/SRS/Skeletons before getting the Raise Spectre gem, as it reads as if we'll be less dependent on the STR needed for a Melee Splash gem because we might not need it for those minions anymore (though we should still keep our STR up). I'm not sure if the changes to Accuracy apply to minions as well, but it won't matter much since we'll probably switch to Spectres so early. Mob Accuracy - Speaking of accuracy, though: As a result of changes to the accuracy calculation, monsters will have a higher chance to hit players as well. This isn't so noticeable against characters fully invested in Evasion, but will have a more noticeable impact if you have a low amount of Evasion. There's less free mitigation; you have to work for it now. That... that's not so good for us summoners. Now we may want to look into more evasion or something. I dunno. Abyss Jewels - At the same time, we've lowered Life, Mana and Energy Shield available from Abyssal jewels, and made the highest tier harder to obtain, as again they provided an unreasonable level of survivability for a single jewel slot. Again, not super great. Animation Canceling - Could be good, help get us out of danger instead of leaving us stuck in an animation. Then again, I would also assume there will be times when we click too fast and cancel an action we didn't mean to. Ascendancy Classes and Energy Shield - The Occultist now only has a single Energy Shield based notable, with a condensed and limited version of the previous Energy Shield notables. The ability for energy shield to be uninterruptible if recovery has started recently has moved to a new Keystone found near the Witch, making the mechanic available to a broader selection of characters, though with a new downside. We've made a number of changes to bonuses to Energy Shield on the passive tree. The value of increases to energy shield on various passive clusters have been lowered, with some flat energy shield available early in the passive tree. This will let energy shield have some extra defensive benefits at early levels, while reducing the potential Energy Shield that a fully invested late game character can achieve. Not sure how this will affect the Occultist version of the build, but it does not seem good. At all. Lower ES and the regen will take a hit with Wicked Ward being changed. Powerful Unique Item Rarity - While I doubt this will affect much in late game with fossil crafting (no mention of nerfing the bound fossil from what I read), and I doubt it will affect Bones of Ullr, there is a chance it may make finding Vis Mortis a pain in the ass if it is considered 'powerful' by GGG. |

This guide is written amazingly, based on what we see in the notes this is a contender. Haven't played spectres since tukohama vanguards reigned supreme.

Just showing my interest in this build and its clear speed variant. Amount of love and care this build getting is an example for all other build makers.

" Energy shield with realistic league jewels and gear is some where around 8-8.5k before shield nodes, shield gems and occultist nerf in 3.7. Boots has no +1 spectre mod. Uncapped resistances with almost perfect gear. And you must carry a new flask so life flasks could restore your shield. Life based looks a bit better to me o) Last edited by LordOmni#2266 on Jun 4, 2019, 2:30:03 PM
