Also considering melee spectres. Havent realy done a spectre build for a copple of leagues. Have played summoner since they released the spectre gem :)
I am exited to get into it again, just unshure on what way i want to go. Was a bit hyped by the ranged skelly alt quality gem + wall of fire for clear and then maybe some good single target spectre like RK or RS for bosses. Been watching your guides latley and they are amazing, and they are making me hyped for Heist 😁

This is my build choice in the new league

you will have to start with the base build, you will transition to pure spectre later if you have the helmet and level 25 raise spectre.

grab a shield with much life and the resistances you need until you can effort victarios.

So, you are a new player. Take it like the trailer for the league and stick to the build! Read it carefully and fulfill every single step. Then you cannot fail and you will have a great league start experience. :)

It could happen I guess but the biggest problem with RS was probably that it was ranged and also tanky.

Yeah, for sure. But if they keep it like that, for me it's ok. RK has a lot of life too and can clear very well, just not like the RS with pierce + gmp ofc :p

Well Kay rated clear speed 4/5 with RK and 3.5/5 for SD... I personally have not used RK's yet but even a slight improvement over SD seems great to me. My biggest problems with SD is they were pretty squishy.
