Here is my Opinion:

pro

+ 2nd anointment
+ big aura buffs at monster groups with some rare monster
(strongbox, shrines, legion, delve etc.)
+ the ultimate godmode aura
+ the insane 4k+ ES aura
+ auras are stackable
+ nice too have at endbosses where can spawn rare monsters

con

- the haste aura boost can be annoying
(specialy in dungeon maps or between delve entcouners)
- aura buffs are random
- no life gloves (-500 life)
- no extra minion damage
- no lab enchants? (my was replaced after the anointment)

My conclusion:

Nice 2 have necro gloves, but 4 the real hard endgame i think it would be better to have hight life gloves with extra minion damage, maybe..

Edit: FunFact >> it seems that unused blight pods can taunt monsters, because i saw monsters attack them after backtracking maps x'D
