RKs feel really different for clearing. I don't think they clear faster because they can't offscreen clear. But it seems really good. I can upload a quick video.

I was just wondering, did you ask about phys spectres early in the league? I think I have found something that might work as pure phys. Then stack impale, etc. I don't know if it will be good because I'm just using poedb stats.

I didn't ask about physical, but I did use EVFs for a few bosses and the damage they put out was pretty crazy. So much so I might switch to spiders from EB/MoM soon so I can use them over the RS. Which ones are you looking at on poedb? I might test some out this weekend.

RS has 75% cold conversion, but after hatred scaling, they do 90-97% cold damage, so the phys damage is actually really low. It's better to scale elemental damage as much as possible than impale.

The gloves are very interesting. How are they when you are mapping quickly?

About editing PoB. You need to edit two files. One file is for the spectre list and the second file is for spectre skill. The name of the file is at the top of the box.

During mapping the gloves mostly help during events, like legion, blight, metamorphs, also you can get a lot by annointing them (i was thinking of putting a pure non bossing annoint on it like ravenous horde or grave intentions) and switch to other gloves for bossing, while they're not always beneficial i think they're still better overall than random gloves.


For the scaling part i'm gonna be fair, i'm quite a new player(my first char was in betrayal) and i thought impale worked with conversion, it doesn't so impale is a really bad idea.

That said after doing a bit of theorycrafting i think the best way to scale up sentries dps is crit, taking advantage of vicious bites, which synergises really well with items like bottled faith, and the kingmaker aura which is free 50% crit multi, with a large cluster and 2 megalomaniac with vicious bites you can easily get 200% crit multi which is obviously an insane dps boost, that can be boosted a lot with a +2 to minimum frenzy/power charges shield with necromancer aegis (tho i'm not a fan of that option because it makes you really squishy)

For now i'm running with hatred+precision+skitterbots+haste(free from aul's amulet) as auras (no devouring diadem/mom because i have a lot of reasons to prefer a minion helmet over it) and only have 1 vicious bites, and the boss damage already seems high, so i think it would be extremly satisfying with a bottled faith and 3 vicious bites, this is obviously not a budget friendly option, but i think it's a nice way for an end of league build that destroys everything.

I still have some grind to do to actually test how that works out, but on paper it looks great!

Maybe im stupid, not impossible i am... but have a question. Running my own version of the league starter with RS and doing all content, A8 Sirus deathless, uber elder, shaper and so on.

Why take the points for Sovereignty? 6% reduced mana reserved, but im only using Hatred 50%+ Skitterbots 35% =85%. And have enought mana to summon and convocation during the runs.

Feels like i can use that points better.

But as i said, i can be stupid and miss something

The crit build is definitely the best. But note that you neeed to reach a high crit chance and crit multi to make up for the low eHP (the example life pob has 6k life and necro aegis). It won't work if you only have one or two vicious bite jewels.

When the reddit post was first made, the writer said the jewels he used were 50c? Now they are 3ex minimum (just vicious and no other useful things) and you need 6. The rest of the build cost 100ex+? If you can afford that, give it a try. I wish I could :(

You can think of my build as the low budget tanky option for poor players :)
