Bestiary as a Core Game Mechanic

Good call.

I think the worst issues were: rarity of high-end beasts, spawning so many minions you could barely see the beast itself, non-instant nets, inability to capture at medium/high/full HP, accidental beast deaths due to low HP, along with maybe 100+ useless recipes (I didn't count, but a LOT).
(edited) Also some Menagerie issues. And no Stash there.

With those issues fixed, you could revisit it in some future race, perhaps with a day of practice league leading up to it.
Player numbers are plummeting.

So we won't have access into bestiary uniques sets :( ?
In order to get rid of clearspeed meta cap global movement speed at 100% but make all skills instant so everything feels great.
OMG I'm so happy right now. This was literally my 1st league I've skipped...
We Salute You o/
And we Thank You |o|

Going to miss the new recipe screen banner though.

It made me feel like I really achieved something special... :)

Glad to hear. It increased # of accidents in HC.
It was fun, but I'm not interested in continue to do Pokemon for every single coming-up league.
Even redoing all the masters are annoying and not fun. Wanna just keep fighting.
I have a love / hate relationship with Bestiary so mixed feelings about this.

@GGG - Kudos for trying something so different and for making difficult decisions. I'm excited to see what you guys cook up next based on everything you learned from this league!

we have decided not to retain any element of the league in the core game for now.

Thank you.
Your RNGeesus is a false prophet
The 4th reason why is how unpopular this mechanic is. For real I don't remember a lot things implented into a game that was so hated (beside stuff that cost real money).

last time I have heard so much hate about a game change was with all the class changes during WoD in WoW.
