[3.4] Teleports Behind You - Poet's Pen Lightning Warp & Arc, MF / Facetank t16 / Shaper / U. Elder

This build feels sooo good. It, at least to me, seems to clear faster than a wander if you aim your frenzy/ports well. And the sound of everything popping......mmmmmm yes. Thanks for the build.

Would love to try this build, but i'm wondering how tough would it be to switch from my current set up? (Self cast arc using Enki's guide)

I have 5 ex to spend that I'm thinking will go towards Mind of the Council, 4x poet pen, and choir of the storms.

Do I have to respec ascendency (went with golems) and/or my passive tree? You can take a look at my char.

Anyone mind critiquing my gear? Currently farming T14-16 maps. Don't die too often, but DPS doesnt feel all that great single target. I have a budget around 8ex to upgrade with.

That's what I did. I started with the self cast arc build with a passive tree like Enki's guide. This poet's pen build was able to be effective with that tree; However, this build is better with the crit nodes instead of Elemental Overload in Enki's guide. So, I slowly changed to this tree. Also, I slowly changed the ascendency points since Mastermind of Discord has lightning penetration which is stronger than the other options. I also started with just the arc/ball lightning 2 pen wand setup for budget reasons.
Bottomline, I found this poet's pen dariidar's build much more fun to play.

Only 1 crit mult on jewels total, some nodes missing - consider using Intuitive Leap for Overcharged and Dreamer for some QoL also but that's not what you asked for.

Attack speed wom't make alot of sense in this build as the most you can get out of PP is 4 Attacks Per Second - so crit mult is WAY stronger.

Is it just me or does no one else like lightning warp or body swap? If I were to take out lightning warp, what's something else I could replace it with that would compliment arc well for AoE?

With how quickly LW moves around once it's leveled and with the support gems I"m loving it. I use it for most all movement actually. It (with Arc) just blows everything up when mapping and it's a great skill to quickly move around the map even when not attacking. You don't want to use it to attack the same thing over and over again though; I can see that getting annoying. That's when you want to swap to the second set of Pens.
