I tried it out last night as well and this was pretty much my experience as well. If I purposefully went slow to test/count how much he was casting, it was pretty much always up coverage, however when moving at normal speed, nothing was ever cursed because he couldn't keep up and I had swapped in convocation thinking it'd be nice to have some heal for the minions and maybe it would keep the curse up more having him come to me a lot, but it just gimped the damage from stuff not running around killing too much and didn't help the cursing all that much. I also ended up having charges fall off all the time when I was moving slow enough for the cursing to actually work, so it kind of defeats the purpose. Back to 2x carnage and 2x host once I get my other wand.

I could see it maybe being useful for awakener/shaper/elder or something to just make sure he's perma cursed though as he'd always be in range for that.


Also I did try awakener last night and it would have been great for a kill, but it bugged out on me /sigh. Got to 25% very quickly and just sat up in the air and never came down no matter what I did, then I ended up dying and the cloud was at the door so it bricked the attempt :(

tbh this is a great build but i still feel that my damage is lacking a lot when im mapping low tier map can someone look at my gear and give some suggestion?

ps: i got a minion have chance to taunt and blind on hit plus a to dust jewel

you can swap out melee splash on your body for ruthless and all your gems are 0%

what cyclone does for summoners:

- generate charges for minions via Victario's Charity without using necromantic aegis
- proc cast when channeling during cyclone (offering)
- stun immunity while cycloning
- apply elemental equilibrium (for non brutality builds)

Ah, is it a lot better than this build? It looks like there are quite a few advantages, but you also gotta be in melee range a lot right? I like the fact that with this build you can pop everything and pretty much just hide or dance around the boss.

These features are rarely used all at same time.
It really depends on build, this build is very solid, you can modify it, hard to tell which version is the best.
For example cast when channeling offering spam is useful on a build that uses spirit offering and gets some es investments. Normally you don't get anything from spamming your offering that often, but you can build around it and get that free ES renewed every time you pop new offering. So you chain spam the offering as you cyclone constantly replenishing 2-3k es. This is how summoners get deep in 1000+ delves.

There is many twists you can do with summoner, hard to pimpoint the best version really.
how does this deal with Chaos Damage without Chaos Inoculation ? (im new to the game)
Thx for guide really intetrsting. Make ssome fixes. Now have dps for 1 skeleton

and around 7400 hp but rip in double corrupt my armor and now have just 6700.

this is life based build
you can get chaos resist on rares (which btw isn't bad idea since we are swimming in resists, there is not much else to get)
