Is time to start theory crafting this build using cyclone now that it sounds like its going to be a channeling skill.

I never really played with cyclone before so I wanna ask is it fast enough to move away from triple shaper balls during the U.Elder fight?

Well... with Wicked Ward being moved from Occ to the general tree, I wonder if this version of the build will surpass the Occ version now.

I think it's going to depend on the tree - cold version appears to have reduced clearspeed and ES, without DPS changes. The versions look pretty close at the moment.
