Oni-Goroshi in Current League - are You gonna farm it or drop it?

I think we're all in agreement on UH fight in that #1 is Scion and #2 is Witch. Everything else is nearly always bad with many deaths before killing UH. Only reason I could face-tank UH without moving at all was my poor Duelist had to grind the beach to level 9 before finding UH so he had extra life and damage from the passive tree (that is anything but the norm).

Wrong. Shadow is #1. Because HE JUST IS.

(And all personal preferences aside, I've never even come close to dying on an OG hunt with a basic Viper shadow.)

Hmm... never tried a Shadow OG farmer. I'll try that next expansion. Good to know.

Shadow is my favorit char when it comes to beat UH, but almost always i use a 'melee' char (Templar, Mar., Duelist, Shadow), cause once your build is halfway geared (doing more then 160-180 Tooltip-DPS) it's ezpz facetanking UH, sometimes normal Hillock happens to be one-shot. Templar & Marauder sometimes are relative slow, Wp.s whit Attack speed helps a lot.

Tried him too with a witch once, never again, several times as ranger, and 2 or 3 times as scion.
BTW i'm always DW'ing, are there people out who beat UH with Wp. & Shield or with a 2H-Wp. (except Ranger)?
Just do it! And keep it simple -
Things will become complicated by itself.

I wonder what poor soul has to go out and light the torches every night on the beach (who draws the short straw)?

What the?... Then why when I make beach runs it's always raining?  :)

Shadow with Viper Strike is how I got my Oni.

A Scion with Spectral Throw sounds good too.

I guess the hardest thing to do, is Heavy Strike Uber Hillock to death as a Marauder.
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun
Hmm.. I wonder if I have the energy to do the grind again?

I started Betrayal rather late, so ... I really feel like I would have liked another week or two with my current character iteration. I tried using Consecrated Path, and I felt like that was working for me, but I never really had the time to push past White maps.

I also sort of miss playing an Ice Shot Ranger, although none of my Rangers were anywhere near as effective as my Oni-Goroshi Scions. Being ancient, I know I really don't have the energy for more than one "main" character per league.

Oh well, I suppose I'll probably end up doing it.

Why do anyone would need to farm it? ><
As a good leveling weapon? Ok, but it fits melee builds only, no?
Auctioneer House - is a MUST!
SSF, it can be a god send with an early 6 link.

Yep, SSF. It's a 6L you can get at an early level, and it levels with you.
