Oni-Goroshi in Current League - are You gonna farm it or drop it?

It has the best drop rate in the game. 100% chance from the only monster that can drop it.

That monster's spawn rate, on the other hand...well, set aside 8-12 hours. I've seen as low as 5 hours, as high as 16. My own took about 9.

If that's your idea of abysmal, so be it. It's not going to change, so you honestly have only two options: do it or don't. But please don't complain if you choose the latter. It won't make any difference. I can promise you that. ^_^

Mm... well... I reserve the right to complain, but yeah, I get that my complaining won't impact anything. But it's been a league or two (or three?) since I last played and I thought ask.

I feel the same way about her on-kill quotes. I too wince (internally) every time. But I want to experience at least one playthrough of the game with her.

You can just turn off on-hit VA in the options while you play with her. I accidentally did it, so I thought you all were just hallucinating about "EVERTHING bUUURRRNNNSSS!"

I tried that option but still heard the scripted stuff (this was when I was testing the sword sans Her Embrace so I wanted to see if I could mute her) so figured it was...I dunno, not working. But if it just turns off the incidental dialogue, that's kind of awesome.

Definitely turns off "on rare kill" VA and I think the other incidentals; scripted VA still plays. It had been off for so long, I forgot how annoying it can be.

Certainly there is a degree of stupefaction to whole process. Why I bother I don't know ... mulishness I guess.

It could be the old "I will NOT let the Wookie win" attitude meaning that as you said running up the beach, killing zombies and a few sand spitters along the way, then killing Hillock, and then rinse and repeat 100s/1000s of times until UH comes out, it so trivially easy that I won't admit defeat from the huge repetitiveness.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Im familiar with that state hence my previous post ;)
Hah!

And now I can just see Hillock doing the "satisfied Wookie" pose ...

Hilarious .. nostalgic and ... perhaps just a big creepy, since giant zombies aren't nearly as ... well, let's say not nearly as "friendly" looking as Wookies.

Thanks for this tidbit; I wish I had noticed it earlier.

PSA: Checking "Disable Gameplay Event Voices" does not prevent the Goddess from saying her important dialogue.

@Charan: It doesn't prevent Syndicate dialogue, either. (Though I imagine those Bridge runners wished it did. ;) )
Wash your hands, Exile!
Well... I'm not sure if this counts as me winning or the Wookie winning ... but ...

There we go.
