[3.10] From League Starter to Shaper – Cheap, Tanky, Fast and Fun Physical ST – Very Detailed Guide

Hey, I wanted to stop by and say thanks for this build. ST is now my favorite skill and I'm looking forward to trying it out on other ascendancies.

This is the highest I've taken any character, so any advice will be appreciated. Although, having this guide to reference has already helped enough.

Well you can get a lot more life on your gear but you're at a point where upgrades cost. I don't know your budget but I suppose it isn't large. I think a 6L armour with 100+ life and (if possible) some resists should be your next upgrade.
Try to have enough money to upgrade more (or better yet all) items together. Upgrading one at a time means you need to cap resists every time and you'll end up paying more and getting worse items than if you just upgrade everything together.

Upgrading everything at once. That's great advice! My personal economy isn't rich, but I can afford to spend 120c on gear. I'm only afraid of having to sacrifice dps for more health.

I've completed up to t13 with the current setup.
Hey such a great guide !
First of all, thank you for your work :P
I cannot wait to try this build in the new league soon !
I guess I will try it out first in the standard to get used to this build :D
Really appreciate how you made it so detailed :] I can sense all these new exiles coming here to try this build out after failing at other expensive builds :P

Best regards,

NightLord
I know it's still really early with patch notes and all but do you think this will still be a viable build for 3.3? I am super pumped to play something not everyone is rushing to play, but still being able to down all content.

As I say in the pros section of the guide, this build really has nothing to nerf. No OP skills or flavour of the week mechanics. I've checked the patch notes and I can't see anything that affects us. It does have a couple of OP changes though :P

Added a new feature - Always Attack Without Moving (FINALLY !! Not important for this build but super helpful for anyone using leap slam.)

Also new Tabula incoming.

I also checked the tree. We get a small buff in trickery. It now grants 20% increased damage instead of 20% increased elemental damage. So yeeeei +2% damage ! :P

Hey,
First: thanks for the very detailled guide, I will definitely play this Build in the new season.
The question is: would you recommend this build to a player, who just started playing PoE 3 weeks before the end of the old season?
I have played 3 different characters: with my Blade Flurry duelist I could not get further than t13 Maps, maybe because of equipment issues. Then I tried a Sunder Jugger, because I am considering going for Uberlab Farming and this Jugger was really easy to play in Lab.
So I really don‘t know which of these Builds are the best option for me. :/

Thanks!
Looks nice. Considering for my incursion starter

This is a pretty nice build to start with. Easy to gear, cheap and very easy to play. Two-button playstyle with everything else automated. However if you want a lab farmer then you're better off building a Juggernaut. Not that this build is bad at that. But you really can't beat the phys mitigation of the Juggernaut.

if I understand correctly after the patch Vaal ST will now grant the normal ST spell as well? Any benefit for this build because of that? I guess you lose 20% quality though and getting a level 20 Vaal ST will probably be a bit of a chase.
