Thanks for this build! For the first time I'm mapping comfortably since I'm still kinda new at the game, this elemental conversion is pretty interesting and fun
I gotta say I'm only lvl 56 but I am enjoying this build so far! the Chilled debuff really helps!
On the guide though, in you "Levelilng up ~ Ascendancy ~ Bandits" spoiler, the lvl 96 tree doesn't shot up, only minor complaint :P
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, glad you're having fun!
Not sure what you mean? If you mean the level 86 tree I am actually redoing it today with what I had at lvl 86.

Fantastic! Yeah elemental is pretty fun with the debuffs that come along with the damage types. Elemental Penetration is really powerful and I'm honestly surprised they didn't lower how much there is available with how powerful Ngamahu's flame build was last league. They even gave us more sources of it on abyssal jewels.
do you really think belt of the deceiver is core to the build? especially with some of the things abyss belts can roll with?
I got that thing its hard to not want to use something like that over belt of deceiver, I guess really the only difference is I would sacrifice damage for defense

Belt of the Deceiver on paper more damage than a rare belt but this build uses a lot of uniques at the end already making it hard to balance resists. If you can work it in Belt of the Deceiver is a fantastic choice and what I recommend for leveling.
By 'leveling' I mean 1-70ish or until your get a really good rolled Stygian Vise if in Abyss League. Deceiver only requires lvl 20 and will last a very long time.
Doesn't mean it's the end game belt but in 99% of chases it's more damage. This league is literally throwing belts at us so the chances of good rolls are high. I'm not currently using Deceiver either. The only 'core' item for this build would be Hrimsorrow/Hrimburn gloves and even then if you don't have those gloves you're still doing roughly the same damage just only 40% cold instead of 90%.

Uber lab completed first try. Level 88, 4.1k hp and VP. Sitting at 40k h/o DPS (re-leveling 20% gems), but I'm also using Fortify in 5-link because I'm lazy. The key was avoidance as any hit took me down to ~500 hp. So just move a lot and don't let him you twice in a row without healing up.
well i finished act 10 and ran 2 tier one maps after switching out some gear using this build. I dont have alot of chaos so I did the best I could with what i bought. it went ok so far but HP is so bad I get 1 shot occasionally from abyss enemies. other than jewels i have most of the HP nodes already, i think theres like 4 or so left for me to get.
the build is fun but it feels like its gonna be rough balancing defensive stats with so many uniques

One of the things that I have been really enjoying is Warchief-Elemental Prolif-Culling-Hypo setup for abyss rifts.
That aside, you are missing life on almost all of your gear and all of the jewel sockets in passive tree. Even in the 67pt tree I have 2 jewel sockets already taken and by your level you should have 3. That could be roughly 30hp a piece and 30% increased damage to abyssal monsters. A flat 90ish hp and 90% increased damage against abyssal monsters goes a long way. The Heart of Oak nodes aren't taken until the 108pt tree as well.
Also, you still have four points in your tree going from Art of the Gladiator to just under Finesse that shouldn't be there. Follow the leveling tree's and everything should be fine. All the gear I used during leveling this league is shown under the "On a Budget?" spoiler in main guide if you want to see what to aim for.
None of your gear has quality, not even Kondo's. Darkray Vector's is only gotten late in the build as well. The Tips for Leveling section has what uniques I go for first.
Use some defensive flasks such as:
Sulphur is a great flask when not using VP. Damage and cycloning in the consecrated ground will give you regen. You shouldn't need a mana flask anymore.

One shots will happen now and then sure, but you should be killing abyssal rares/uniques before they get off their big nukes early on. I'm on t13 maps at the moment and occasionally I have to dodge one that gets a ability off before it dies.
The only abyssal monster that will bend you over are the ones who disappear and pop up on you. If there are two and they stagger when they appear and hit, you will die. The best thing I've found for them is using the Warchief totem I mentioned above and moving away when you see them go invisible. When I move away 99% of the time they just attack totem instead.
I would suggest picking up all 3 of the jewel slots soon by moving those 4 misplaced points I mention above and Heart of Oak. Work on getting life on your gear. More life = bigger leech rate. Quality all your Uniques at the very least. That's just wasting damage by not using whetstones on Kondo's.
Maybe you are moving things around when I looked but I don't see frostbite anywhere, just Hatred and Herald of Ice. Frostbite is a massive chunk of this builds damage and freezing. Herald of ice is MILES behind Frostbite. Also, don't be scared to use fortify in your main cyclone setup instead of melee phys for some added toughness.

Thanks for the tips. it was late last night when i finished act 10 and ran those 2 maps so I didnt really do everything I should have first with the build. I know I'm missing life on gear but as i said I dont have alot of chaos yet so its not easy to afford resists AND life on gear as thats the kind of thing people start charging for, I had like 24 total chaos after finishing act 10.
I'll double check the skill tree distribution this evening after work. I was originally going a different build with this character and switched to this, used a ton of regrets already and I thought I dropped everything I was supposed to, guess not.
Thanks again.
EDIT: I had a few minutes and checked the skill tree real quick for the 4 misplaced points you're referring too, Those are remnants of the build I left behind for this one and completely forgot to regret them. definitely going to take care of that this evening
