Hello,

I'm new to the game, but this build looks good. I'm wondering if this will be ok for all the end game stuff? It does seem to be a build in progress, don't want to get to the end and realise I can't do stuff.

Cheers

I have done al the end game content minus Uber atziri and hall of the grandmasters in 3.1. I did Hotgm in 3.0 but it was before I decided to make a guide so no screenshot. Uber atziri I have the keys I just haven’t taken the time to do it since league started. From what I hear, if a build can do shaper it can do Uber atziri.

On the main guide under the “content cleared” spoiler are all the post 3.1 kill images.

The only part that is being reworked is the passive tree to be optimal. The trees now are perfectly fine and what I used for all the 3.1 kills.

Recommendations for more HP:
Remove 4 points to get the +30 INT and replace top right jewel with Fertile Mind. Use 4 points to get the Jewel past Tireless and get closer to Constitution.
Since you have really expensive gear, sacrifice a bunch of dmg nodes to finish Constitution and get the surrounding 5% HP nodes. If you drop Hatchet Master, Splitting Strikes, Executioner, and/or Wrecking Ball you will have 10-14 extra points. Paired with the 4 from getting Fertile Mind, you will have the whole Constitution HP unlocked plus enough for 1-2 more Jewels for even more HP and a bit of dmg. So with 2 Abyss Jewels, that will add 100 HP and 49% HP modifiers. It is 2 am, so my subpar math skills says about 1k HP more? If that is too much extra HP, drop some of the HP nodes or sockets and keep the dmg nodes.

A little hit to my DPS for sure, but I gained a lot of extra life. I'll try this for now and see how that works.
Ah good to be home, clearing maps once again. Have a whole week to catch up on!

Found this for pretty cheap today. Goodbye Kondo's! Back to my beloved axes, heh.
Any particular reason why you use incDur on Leapslam/Fortify?

Back when I wrote the skill gem section I didn't actually know inc duration didn't effect fortify, I just assumed it did. Someone pointed it out, I looked into it and sure enough it doesn't. Live and learn! :D

I just forgot to update the guide with the revision! Thanks for the reminder, made the revision now.

No inc duration, either Blood Magic or Endurance on melee stun.

Hey,

Did a lot of improvement since my last post on here. Wondering what the next big investment I should make for this build?

Right now I'm also sitting at 4300 HP, is that considered too low? Hoping to pick up Constitution passive in the next 2 levels.

Hp is fine and levels plus filling out the life wheel around Constitution will go a long way.

Big investment currency wise for you I'd say Flasks. Taste of Hate, Sin's Rebirth are a good chunk of dps and Taste gives some added phys mitigation which is helpful.

A Belly or Kaom's Heart would be bigger investments but would give quite a boost to your HP and overall survival. I tend to use Kaom's for guardians/elder and other big boss fights.

hello. I use this build too and have a big question: how do you manage to fullfill the INT requirements for frostbite? When I look into your profile you equipped gems which require 99int and you have no int on either the skilltree nor the items you wear.
Would Shroud of Lightness be a better body armor investment? With 2 abyss sockets on it + using 3-4 abyss jewels in the tree you would be getting just a bit under the same around of HP that Kaom's would offer I think + I would put Leap Slam in there to help trigger the Shade Form as you're slamming around. This also allows you to retain using the totem for boss fights / fodder.

Edit: The int requirement on the armour seems pretty high as well. I'm finding it hard to grab equipment that also provides Int, feel like i'm stuck with Carnage Heart for the time being.

Fertile Mind in top right Jewel will convert Dex to Int. Really cheap option until you can afford high end gear that adds Int.

The cheapest option would be to pick up the 30 INT on the way to Constitution. A max rolled Fertile Mind is 3c and will add 8 more INT. Rings can get 50+ INT roll, but get a bit expensive with all of the other mods. If you get a ring with 5 rolls, you can craft 20-25 on it. You can also replace 1 of your DPS Jewels with a Jewel like this that adds a bit of life, dmg, and INT:
http://poe.trade/search/ohookidosasiha

The armor will not offer as much HP as Kaom's. It will add a lot more damage than a Kaom's will, but definitely not the HP. The amount of HP per +Max life and %Max life will vary depending on your gear and passives. For me currently, I think 5% is about equal to 35 HP (I do not have Constitution wheel yet.. if I did, then it would make it around 5% to 30 HP, making Shroud % HP less valuable). Let's say you had Shroud and like 4 passive Abyss jewels. That is only 70 HP from Shroud jewels plus 70 HP (10%) from armor and another 35 HP from the Abyss jewels affect. So we'll round that up to 150 HP vs Kaom's 500 HP. Then depending on your % HP multiplier, it becomes like 300-400 HP increase vs 1000-1400 HP. Even with Abyss Belt, double Abyss helm, and more Abyss jewel passives to add an extra 5%.. that is still around 600 more HP from Kaom's.

I haven't had breakfast yet, so feel free to correct my math :)
