I see. I think I prefer fusing myself just for that super low chance of 6L. I should probably learn better since it took around 2k fusings for my 6L last season and has taken 300+ Jeweler's twice for my 6 sockets this season. But to each their own.

I think a 3-4 link Carcass will end up being more damage and survival than your 4-link armor. But if you want to hold out for 5L, you can pick up cheap 5L rare armors with 70+ hp for under 1 chaos.

If you find a well rolled one for low chaos you can 5l it yourself with the prophecy is the point I suppose. Even at four links a Carcass Jack is strong. At the time of posting this there is a Jack with 61 life, 11% all res and 44% inc area dmg for 3c. That's pretty well rolled, throw a jeweller's touch on it for 25c and you have a mid-rolled Jack that has all the things you need on it for 28c.... or you could just buy a similar one for 30c. A low rolled 6s 5l at the moment is 20c. A bargain if you ask me since the prophecy alone to 5link something is 25c.

Going straight for a perfect rolled 6s 5l jack or any item isn't very helpful. Like using a 5l Kondos and trying to save for a perfect rolled 6l Disfavour. A 4l disfavour wins out and will make you clear faster which, in the end, generates you more currency to buy a 6l.

You will make plenty of currency along the way but what is important now is: 1. Staying alive, and 2. Clearing fast. These kind of games favor the quick massive murder of things. The more time the system rolls the random numbers to see what loot you get the better. At this point you just want to start comfortably clearing maps and not dying all the time.

okay FINALLY 5 linked my carcass, now what do I run as a 5L Xd

If you have chromes to recolor, as Blackdeath101 said, try to get GGRRR. For GGBRR ele focus + culling/faster attacks would be my recommendation. If you want to freeze then conc/inc area + Hypo. Really you could just run conc all the time and it would be fine. Just smaller area so you would have some stragglers that you would have to kill but meh.

In order of importance EDwA > Melee Phy > Dmg on Full/Maim > Hypo. If you only have 2 reds EDwA + Melee Phys always. Useful blues are Ele Focus, Conc Effect, Inc Area and Ele Prolif. I don't tend to run my cyclone setup in my chest because they suck for rolling GGRRRR but weapons do it easily.

Lol I didn’t even think to run it in my weapon. But I just now managed to 5 link my chest and I’ll be using that forever, gotta work io my weapon next i suppose

What about using Impresence (Cold) in this build ? Isn't it good?

Chest lasts you longer so 5linking it first was right choice. I 5link my kondo's just because I don't mind spending the Chaos for more dmg an faster clears.

Not the worst but Flat elemental dmg isn't the best for conversion builds. Maddening Presence is interesting but meh. No frostbite mana reserve also kinda meh.

It won't hurt the build in any way but pretty much any other amulet will work better. The physical impresence, funny enough, would probably be better than the cold version.

right before the message about servers going down I found myself with 81c after selling a few items. time to go shopping for a good chest piece!

gonna need to be careful though, dropping my chest for a carcass will put my fire and lighting under cap so i'll probably also need to pick up jewels or something to re-cap in the meantime

I've been playing around with a Lightpoacher for this build, and it's a lot of fun. I think it probably isn't as much DPS but it definitely clears faster.

Interesting, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the tip! I haven't really played around much with the new uniques yet this league but there are some cool looking ones out there for sure.

just grabbed this for 27c. not a bad deal in my opinion. no idea what I'm gonna do with that extra blue socket but whatever for now
