FWIW, a lot of "labor" problems in some companies can be solved with a more efficient business model and better use of the labor (or better trained labor) that is employed. There's something to be said for hiring an experienced employee, and something to be said for training them yourself to your own company standards. As immigration tightens the labor pool, the wages of those doing hard dirty work will rise again (and the costs of those products will go up). This is as it should be. The sacrifices those workers make in their long term health is no less than the sacrifice made by those who spent 4-5 years in college delaying their career. I did hard dirty work. Basically Ive done everything to build a pool and landscaping. Blew mud, rebar, plaster etc when I was young. Then I got promoted to driving heavy equipment and foreman. Now I run all outside crews and mainly deal with formans and munis for permitting and inspection. Anyway even with this huge immigration we can only find just a few ppl worth a shit. Especially natives. Drugs, showing late, incompitant and so on and so forth. I blame social welfare from schools to social security for making ppl snowflakes. Our best ppl are immigrants and we need more IMO.

Whenever the stupid press/media/political types go off on Trump about how smart our intelligence community is, and how they don't lie, i think of 2 things...
1) "Hillary Clinton has a 100% chance of becoming president. A vote for Trump is just a waste of your time." 2) "We have to go to war with Iraq because our intelligence community has evidence of weapons of mass destruction, including cartoons of mobile weapons labs". You know when you have to show cartoons to make people believe something, like they do with evolution and kids, you know you're listening to someone who's a complete and total full of crap moron. Trump is doing great, and the fact so many talking head morons are chiming in their hate for him over meeting Russia, shows just how effective he's being. That's all the moron crowd has... screaming and crying and hoping it'll create a bandwagon of support against Trump and he'll go away. And how many times did they try that in the primaries? Morons, never learn. We in the right wing will only making him stronger now. A) because it's right. and B) because it's like poking the ant hill. It's fun. |
