1. u can use Enfeeble or Temp CH for defence or Vulnerability for dmg < if u have +1 curse u can use 2 of this
2. Damage on full life - superb gem for this build on this class
3. Daressos amulet( BIS ammul for this build) DMG

1) I still use Vulnerability thx to Impresence Amulet, for free reservation, I only lack enfeeble/Temp chain, but I compensate for the lack of this curse with the superior amount of life granted by BM nodes.
2) Because of no life reservation, Damage on full life also triggers with BM, even with an active bloodrage.
3) The only thing is Daresso's amulet, but i feel that 60% increased damage did not scale that well honeslty when I tried it! Impresence Amulet has also some nice flat phys damage, life, and armor, which is not bad at all imho

Sorry, but are you drunk?
The whole point and pros of daresso's amulet are pointed out in the guide quite clearly: +2 range is invaluable in the first place, then we get 60% damage and 10% movespeed which are literally insane for us (since we are ALWAYS on full life), and then we get 2 nice resists for free. No other ammy even comes closer to such bonuses for cyclone slayer, period. this ammy is only a buff, buff and a buff again. 5/6 of the amulet rolls are great for us, 3 of them are pretty much invaluable. No really sure how can it "not scale well".
Then you are talking about impresence free mana reservation and that you lack enfeeble - come on, you still need dualcurse somewhere to run both, and if you don't have it - you are still with the same vulnerability only, where your point about impresence becomes invalid, since using BM on this build is useless really.
Could this passive layout do ok in Endgame? This is what i was thinking about trying.

Does Starforge deal more DMG then Disfavour or not?

Does any1 know that?

It does way more damage then Disfavour, less of Ahfack'S Hate Splitter though, if you can afford to mirror it

Why is BM useless in this build?... I mean, life is important for 2 reasons, survivavibility and to increase your maximum life leech rate which is affected by maximum life. BM is even stronger with starforge (+100 life) and impresence +70 life. I will try again to cut BM and test my survivability without double curse... but BM seems to me a pretty easy way to get tons of life for only 4 passive points. Ofc if you have double curse daresso's you can achieve the tankiness with enfeeble, but i really cant spend 130 ex on it. Is half a mirror...

My point is that if you dont have double course daresso's is it not worth it to use it, since you cant compensate the loss of tankiness and survivability with enfeeble. 6300 life with kaoms heart is so low when fighting uber elder. You can do it if you are skilled, alot of guys did it. But it is far more safe with BM (i reach 7700 life and 4500 leech rate) and you achieve the damahe back from not using daresso by a 6L amcestral warchief you use in your belly of the beast (200k damage in pob)... overall, if you consider this 6L and BM you have both more survivability and damage, losing the +2 range and 10% increased movement on full life, which are insane but still I don't feel they are needed at all. If I want to clear maps for profit and not for experience I will just go for Bisco's.

I think they enjoy the +2 melee range and the bleeding damage. Honestly I don't really like damage over time, because it's really hard to buff it properly through jewels (damage over time + attack speed + maximum life + more attack damage are expansive). Starforge has more damage period, that's a thing (720p). Bleeding is only good against bosses, since you can't have time to stack bleeding while you are mapping against rares. By the time you stack 8 bleeding charges with Crimson Dance you have already killed the rare mob, anyway slower then Starforge, which have more damage per hit. Starforge has also 20% increased area of effect which is almost as good as +1 range and you deal more damage per hit, so you easier oneshot rare mobs in T16 maps. At least it felt like that when I tried it. Starforge can also shock bosses and mobs dealing insane amount of damage. You can shock if you add a jewel with chance to shock in your passive tree somewhere. Even with 5% chance I can assure you it massively increases your damage.

The chance to shock and it's effect on a such build is too tiny to count it in, sir. Since you never crit, you will barely shock anything since 5% from jewel is just meh (base shock duration is just too short to count it in really). What about bleeding - yes, it is useful only on bosses, but then again, you breeze through any kind of mobs (except some red beasts with imba mods) without stopping in T16's already, so talking about trash clearing and bleed impact to that is quite meaningless.

To answer the question "Why more people use Disfavour?":
a) Disfavour is cheaper, especially at league start.
b) It is better than Starforge for Cyclone builds, especially this one, unless you invest like 50ex+ in gear and don't go Resolute Technique. (For pretty much any other 2H melee build, Starforge wins).
c) In this league we got 30% quality beastcraft, which favours Disfavour big time due to it's damage coming from a flat phys roll vs % on starforge (I'm running with 655.5 pdps Disfavour atm, for the reference).

And for people who are interested in attack range of Disfavour vs Starforge, it is almost the same. Starforge gets +1 range from tree and 20% inc from itself, Disfavour gives +2 from itself, totalling to almost the same in final result.
