" Try to improve your dps output, and throught the acts carry always a mana potion. Do short cyclons and leap slam between packs. Yeah, it's not perfect but everything putted in together should be ok. " Bloodletting is something you should worry about when you already are close to 100% chance to bleed, that happens mostly when you have an Atziri's Disfavour or the rare axe Ahfack recommended. Stacking 8 times bleeding is just useful no matter what even w/o bloodletting while leveling, you probably need some more other "regular" nodes to improve your character before those 2 keystones (again, Crimson Dance is good if you like to rush it but I cannot recommend to rush bloodletting too, you would need dps output and lifepool to get the most of the leech and level fast -due to not dying or having mana issues-), I would recommend bloodletting for level 90 or so (I did it and I'm fine). Good Luck! " Daresso's Salute and Slayer Keystones plus regen nodes in passive tree plus a high pool of life, plus endurance charges and fortify. You are going to do maps 99% on full life, and you heal really really fast. That's the main reason he didn't put Vaal Pact on this build, because life regen is really something. |

Hey question about a part of the build. (Character is FuryLlama if you want to see my profile) I am trying to run immortal call + CWDT to proc the Arachnoxia aspect of the Akaralli pantheon. What level should I cap these two gems at for optimal performance? fyi, that part of the pantheon states: " Also, because I'm doing this, my Ancestral Warchief is now on a 2 link instead of a 4 link. Which one support gem should I link to AW for the greatest benefit? Thanks P.S., I'm not finished this build yet so hold any criticism on other errors you find for now =) |

" I personally do lowest level possible so it procs all the time. Con Effect/brutality should be your direct support for aw 🎆🎆 www.youtube.com/c/Ahfack

" [DELETED Ahfack answererd the question about the 2L] CWDT at maybe level 4 if you're at 6k pool or so because IC will eat your endurance charges. But in my opinion: I didn't found a situation (neither guardians yellow corrupted) when Immortal Call could be better than endurance charges earned by melee stun on leap slam. Puttinng IC consumes your endurance charges (then you loose phys reduction and ele resis), while immortall call just avoid some random hits while its duration. I honestly think endurances are better at any given time, mostly when you're running ele weak maps or %more dmg on phys bosses (which happens a lot, if you are looking for sustaining red tier maps). In this scenario, you have to proc Arachnoxia just jumping around trash mobs just for more than 4 seconds (fortify plus endurance charges and a panicked potion of life -in case you REALLY need the life regen- would do the trick). Yeah, it could be a little annoying and maybe suboptimal for your purposes sometimes but you don't have to be dependant on Immortall Call so you could have a full 4L on your AW plus beeing more a Jack of All Trades kind of tank. Ya, lots of flexibility with the build. I actually only use immortal call during uber atziri/shaper/elder because if you're taking shit tons of damage it's the elemental part that gets you and not the phys.

Hello Ahfack, and thx you for your great build! I have 3 questions for you about my Starforge version of your Cyclone build. I killed uber elder several times with it. Here is my PoB https://pastebin.com/0Z2QUauR. I am not that rich, so I couldn't buy gg steel rings with int, +1 curse amulets or insanity gloves. That said, here are my 3 questions!
1) Is bleeding really worth it on a Starforge? I actually have 25% chance to inflict bleeding. I tried it out in maps and against bosses. Damage from bleeding is decent but I feel like I can't inflict enemies 8 times with bleeding consistently with only 25% chance. When I was fighting against uber elder I just felt more comfortable cutting Crimson Dance and Bloodletting to get more Hp or mitigations. It went better this way. Besides, since I don't have commandment of fury enchantment for gloves (i'm wearing spiked gloves) I don't feel to have any advantage from bleeding as well. This is the first build with bleeding I try, so if I said a bunch of stupid things forgive me :D 2) Is non-legacy Kaom's Heart + not taking Blood Magic really the best way to go? I chose BM + belly of the beast + impresence phys amulet to run vulnerabity for free instead and I feel really good about that. CONS of my setup a) What I'm losing this way is the enfeeble curse, which I can't cast with blasphemy b) the damage/utility that daresso's amulet gives us. c) Kaom's Heart ofc gives more life then the Belly. d) Impresence Amulet gives us no resistences when compared to Daresso's, so it is slightly harder to cap res for elemental weakness. PROS of my setup a) I will always have more life overall then non-legacy kaom's + non-BM builds. I feel like having a larger life pool resolves the issue of not using enfeeble, since we already mitigate some damage through EHP, when it comes to uber bosses (who are not fully affected by curses) b) No need to grab mana leech on tree/rings/gloves c) Leap Slam is faster, because I cut blood magic and put in culling strike with 23% quality which increases attack speed. d) 6L Ancestral Warchief inside my Belly of the Beast deals massive amount of damage. Setup in PoB link. e) I have more space in my gem slots to put in a more powerful utility setup lightning golem - cwdt - immortal call - increased duration. I will consider to add enfeeble instead of increased duration if I will vaal an Impresence Amulet for +1 curse. I also had space to put in Rallying Cry, which is also nice I guess. You can use it taunt nearby enemies and keep your totem alive more reliably. 3) Is commandment of fury enchantment really better then spiked gloves implicit overall? I know the enchantment is crazy when it comes to clearing, but still, 20% melee damage is better against bosses I guess, especially if you are on a budget and can't afford gg steel rings. My english is far from perfect, so I hope everything was understandable! Thx you for your answers and for the wonderful build you create! :D MF Academy Discord Server: https://discord.gg/mfacademy Farming Strategy Guide: https://tinyurl.com/2c5u7za8 Last edited by Morgoth92#4883 on Mar 15, 2018, 3:31:14 PM

Thanks for all the advice. I realized that my gear was outdated and increasing my damage fixed my mana issues. Now I'm 71 and tearing through low level maps while looking for the trials to get into Uber Lab.
I have a couple new questions: 1. Now that I've filled in the key stuff in my passive tree I'm not sure how to prioritize the next few points. I could go for Butchery on the left side, just to finish that side off, or focus on the bottom and aim for either Splitting Strikes, Hematophagy, or Crimson Dance. I'm not sure how to compare these nodes to determine which direction to go first. 2. I have 4200 life, all resists (except chaos) maxed, and a 4L Kaom's Primacy. What's the best way to make currency to take the next step toward getting the end-game items, which all cost several Ex? I like maps more than lab, but so far the low level ones don't produce much value. Should I just focus on finding trials and running Lab until I can afford better gear, or work my way up through maps? Thanks, now that I've figured things out I'm really enjoying the build! |
