So wait, to be clear, are we saying "Tempest Blast" on the Passive Tree is NOT a major form of lightning damage? I guess our phys damage is negligible?

With a Piscator's you're literally getting nothing from that node.

Most rare wands, you'll be looking for +elemental/edps, rather than physical (as nothing else would scale from it).

Wow. Def good to know. With everything going on, I guess I assumed I did some phys damage somewhere. But makes sense I'm not if all it could be from is the wand (assumin no flat elsehwere which I'm not, following the guide).

Like other below, I'm finding leveling this build very frustrating as I die A LOT... I'm only level 76 tho (need nodes) but do have the 6L QotF, Harbinger helm, wand, lyc, atziri boots, soul gloves, etc. Missing rings (not lvl80 yet) and a belt (waiting to see what my res will be with rings). But tbh I'm building this to do 3 things.

1) See if I wanna try this as a league starter, hopefully get something functional up and go for early farm for $$$$.

2) Try it out cuz everyone and their mother seems to be running this and I haven't tried it before.

3) IT LOOKS FUN! Lol.

It def is fun but dying is frustrating... But I figure if I'm going for mapping farm and not focusing on leveling eventually, who cares if u die, esp with the clear speed this build must have at the end.

I will say I know people obv run lab with this esp with the MS but with no healing ability besides leech, how does one get past all the traps? I can leech through mobs and MOST traps but it seems on some of the more twisty firey or spikey things, you really gotta be careful. That and/or bring heal pots. Any strat advice on this one?

I primarily lab with my RF build. Just turn RF off and you almost out heal the traps not to mention being almost fire immune. Also face tanking/afk Izaro makes him fool proof as well. But the MS here is what drew me in. Hoping it'll prove equally as easy and 10x faster when I get there.

Thanks for the awesome guide and active feedback!

I have good gear I'm sure. Something doesn't feel smooth about the build itself in most cases. It feels like I don't shatter things very often, or I have to cast 2-3 times to clean things up.

I love pie.

Rings are terrible, both can be improved with 50-100c. After that, vinktar is a large upgrade
Those rings aren't terrible. Not amazing but not terrible...

Maybe terrible was a bit strong, but they are rings that are not worth more than the base they are on.

Both can easily be upgraded for, as I said, less than 50c

Honestly, I wouldn't use this build to farm lab, maybe some do, but if you've already got a strong RF character just use that. Fit in a scorching ray if able, get a good bright beak with faster attacks and fortify and just charge/bounce through the lab with impunity (made easier with just having it was a weapon swap with a second RotF, just be sure you don't have auras in the shield). I have a LL guard and nothing makes lab more enjoyable than being literally unkillable by the traps.

Regarding this build, I'd imagine most use it for currency farming in maps (I think getting it to the point where it's strong on end game bosses is costly, but it's a snowball build).

I think there are better options as a league starter also, while you can get wanders working on a budget, other builds get going for a lot less with better quality of life.

Note; just offering advice/game experience, my character following this particular guide is only 45. I'm concerned at this point that playing guardian for so long has ruined me, because he can literally afk chimaera and survive, and now I'm back trying to play something squishy that I need to pay attention to.
Currently leveling my first wander, I was trying to compare two wands with similar stats and I do not understand why the Imbued Wand gives me noticably more dps than the Demon's horn. Could you enlighten me please.

Base attack speed.

Shame the imbued doesn't have more space for crafting, where as the demon can have lightning, WED, crit multi, or attack speed crafted onto it (has both suffix and prefix open). I'd recommend added lightning damage as the craft, unless you have a lot of other sources of added damage it'll do more than even a max WED roll (Tora for both crafts, she does attack wands).

Oh okay, I was all about the mods and forgot Attacks per second even existed lol, thank you. I added lightning to the Horn and think i'm going to use this one for now

Do you think the wand can be sold or should I give the Orb of annulment a go in the hope to remove +4 life gained on kill / crit chance for spells / fire damage to spells ? I am low on currency.
I am wanting to get into playing a wander I tried a pathfinder but it felt somewhat underwhelming in low maps. Literally didn't make it past t5 with it. Bit iffy about giving a wander a go again my main goal is to do the vaal power siphon stuff going on right now. What would be my best starting point (ascendancy and gear wise) with a lowish budget like 3-4ex?
