Consider using The Anvil for additional block chance:
You can also get one with +block chance corrupt:
Helps quite a bit.
Also if you're not too concerned with loosing a bit of life (in my case it was roughly 400), you can spec out of a few life nodes and spec into block nodes (look at my char tree to compare).
Apart from that your shield is missing a +block channce roll.. That would also help out:

I took your advice @Sawtyss and picked up a dex node, amulet and a new shield. The shield needs better rolls maybe... How am I looking now?
Now you're probably overcompensating, actually. Pick up a Rumi's flask, pull the amulet off, cast Bone Offering, hit the flask, and check what your block is.
Usually you only need one source of % block chance applied to spells.

Id say its more like 40% additional spell block in the end...
Bone Offering gives what? 34% spell and 35 attack block?
With a 50% spell block shield, assuming you have 43% attacks block before offering, you would have a total of 43+35=78 attack block, 50% from that is 39% and that is added to your base spell block from offering (34) making it 73%
Right now with bone offering and my current shield I reach 78 block, 75 spell block. This is a significant difference for me;)
As for the zombies... I don't use them. I've used them a lot, and I mean a lot, but ever since I switched to golems they are just unnecessary.
If you have at least one minions taunnt on hit jewel socketed somewhere either the spectres, or ag or goles usually have the aggro, and youre pretty safe.
At the moment the only thing that can actually hurt me, apart from like rippy guardians or ubers are abyss swarms if I dont pop armor flask and am unlucky with block. You should be seeing roughly the same thing.
Also if yoou go for flame golems you absolutely dont need SGs. Golems clear, TVs rip bosses assisted by AG who has a dedicated 4L in the helmet ;)

Yep I agree... As long as you have a total of ~45-50% spell block combined you should be golden.
Then you can use the other slot to top up on regular block chance :)
Its all about balancing out the stats - going overboard with one wont help that much :(
I wouldn't use a Rumis tho - we are already kinda starved for flask slots, if we want them for all occasions - this probably is just personal preference, but for me a Sapphire with freeze immune, a Basalt with +armor, and a life/hybrid with bleed removal are all mandatory.
Then we should have a curse immune flask for clearing those pesky maps - I picked one with longer duration here.
And in the end I went with a ruby flask, which I will probably reroll to some other mod - this is just because I have uber atziri-trauma and want to have max possible fire res for when we meet :P

PS. Question: How do you guys achieve anything higher than 78/73 block chance? I mean spell block here? I have a jool that adds +2% spell block if you were hit, so I end up with effective 78/75 block chance, still missing 3 spell block :(
