[3.25]💥Lahkesis Queen of Chaos"Essence Drain/Bane"[LowLife] 💥💥
Just got myself this jewel to help with even more defense:
My current ES stats: - ES recharge rate increased from ~3400 per second to 4358 per second. - Got new boot enchant: 1.5% regen of life and mana if hit recently (yeah only merc lab :D) and my ES regen per second is doubled from before (now sitting at ~480 ES regen per second) - 105% faster start of ES recharge. - 233% increased ES from skill tree alone, and sitting at ~9150 ES total. EDIT: Ran 15 maps with at least 2 damage mods (-x% max ele res/ x% inc monster dmg and the likes) and it was pretty smooth. None of those maps spawned porcupines. There were 2 or 3 close calls with some map bosses (Malachai in Core map, Daresso in Colosseum map), but not much of a big deal otherwise. Gameplay experience is getting better as the queen gets tankier :D A filthy casual Last edited by Hologram_o#6409 on Jul 7, 2019, 8:22:50 PM

" Dense fossil has been nerfed. You won't get any ES mod from it. It's better to farm and buy a helmet with that mod and ES. A filthy casual

" Sure, a new player going straight for Path of building will lead to questions such as "What does Spiritual Aid do", "What does curse effect do", "Why does he go for minion nodes, does he have any minions", and so many other similar questions. You totally underestimate how complicated PoB can be, especially to new players (hell even I, a 6-month, 3-league player still need to ask to locate certain things from PoB, but that's just me, just saying). Not a good advice. A new player needs to know as much as possible from reading through the guide, no matter how "long" or detailed the guide can be. You can't just go straight for PoB and then later on ask super basic questions that are already mentioned in the guide. It's annoying and just shows you haven't read through the guide. My advice for new players: 1: Read through any guide you're following, try to focus on important details and know the basics! (Like what big nodes in skill tree does, what each skill gem does). There are details from the guide that are NOT mentioned in Path of Building (PoB) at all, such as strategies during mapping, how to map efficiently, how to upgrade gear, what leveling gear to have, etc etc. These extra details out of PoB also separates a good/detailed guide from a bad/rudimentary guide that misses many important nodes, if that guide wants to be appealing to new players! 2: Watch showcased videos to see how gameplay looks. 3: Make a plan on how you want to level the witch, when to ascend, and what leveling items to obtain. Understand that resistances is a key part for survival during leveling, and trust me, most new players go for dmg, and forget defenses, having elemental resistances like 20/30% or don't care at all, and die a lot more than other more experienced players. This is such a basics that if they want to enjoy any builds, that they absolutely need to keep this in mind. You can die to a lot of things, and for good reasons, but dying because you forget the basics is definitely NOT fun, at least for you! 3. Understanding what the game has to offer after act 10, look up info about the atlas and mapping system, how to upgrade gear, what map to farm, etc... a lot to learn and these are not mentioned in this guide. It is better to learn and avoid mistakes you can make rather than going balls deep without knowing what you're doing and making stupid mistakes. I learned it the hard way when I was a new player, wasting my time doing whatever I want, buffing my dmg to "skyhigh" level and then still kept dying from a corner to another. It's not just about Path of Building when you follow a guide. If you're an experienced player, sure, but that's besides the point. This guide may not be newbie-friendly, but it does not mean a new player cannot make a strong version of it. All it takes is some time reading and doing some research, and you won't be confused by whatever thrown at you later. That's how you LEARN the game, and ask relevant, in-depth questions when you get in trouble/want to upgrade, not some basics that you should've known.
