Thanks for the great build tho Ahfack, had a shitton of fun in Harbi with it, Beachheads with a HeadHunter was a thrill, ended up with 750k+ dmg tooltip, hilarious.

After 5 years of PoE I'm sick of Path of Nerfs, and Path of Trading as well.

So is the crit chance actually gone from DFP or not? Cos in the patch notes it says its gone from DF in exchange for the added flat, but the only note for DFP is the change from 110% -> 100%, the crit removal part is gone (different from the path of nerfs post).

Might still just play DFP because it probably wont be meta and the uniques wont cost stupid amounts of money lol. + abyss gems

Crit is gone as well for Prism. Its in path of nerf.

New DFP will not have Crit Chance on it. It's a significant hit but you can still make the build work, with Diamond Flask etc it really isn't a stretch to get comparable damage levels. Bigger question is the lack of VP and how to manage that.

i think new dfp with assasins will be good enough to play. Still not the dmg of the legacy version but it's an acceptable nerf duo to the new abbysal jewel from the league.
Btw from my calcs , the assasins still have the same crit chance of legacy version but aroung 1 M dmg less ( barrage full buffed with ggg gear, only change the bow )

Isn't the Assassin component of Scion stronger? Especially since you get another half of Ascendant. You can go Slayer/Assassin actually.

There is only speculation at this point. We don't have patch notes or the Tree right now.

GGG nerfs shit a lot, but frankly this one isn't horrible. 110%->100% (oh well), and no crit on the bow. That means chance to bleed will be BiS over inc crit strikes 100% of the time now, and we'll have to do some slight repathing on the tree to get vaal pact now since it's in a new spot. Thankfully, it's only like 2-3 nodes away from where we are anyway so it's not a big deal.

Yo! Could you help us with the changes in the build? I ask this because i really want to play archer again, and DFP was my choice, but now i'm a little bit lost with the nerf consequences. I plan my characters previously the league start, so your tips will be helpfull!!

Quick 3.1 update - I still need to refine things and update thread after we have all the information on 3.1, and I dabble in endgame. Keep in mind I also have a full time job, so I will update as I can, when I can.

This will be your best friend.

Tree pathing will be different. We don't have the tree yet (please note I edited this before the tree came out :P be patient, if the tree is now out upon reading this)

Are we still be able to facetanking with Point Blank and new vaal pact? Is it worth it to go Slayer? Opinions needed.
